"Just a dream I had," he says, kissing me. He rolls me back over and stares down at me before positioning himself between my legs again. He reaches down, grabs my ankles, and places them over his shoulder, then slides into me quickly.

"Oh, that feels so good," I moan.

"Good," he grunts as he moves a little bit faster this time. His thumb makes its way to my clit, and he rubs me and fucks me at the same time. I feel like I'm about to explode. "Promise me one thing, Juniper."

"What?" I scream, not knowing which way is up, not knowing if the world is about to end.

"Promise me you'll be in on Monday."

"What?" I say, as he pauses.

"You said you wouldn't be in on Monday, but I want to make sure that you will be."

"Fine," I scream. "I'll come in on Monday. Just don't stop."

"I won't," he says, moving again, faster and faster. “I’ll never stop, Juniper, because I love you, and now that I know you love me, too, I know we’ll always be together.”

“We will,” I say, biting down on my lower lip. “Fuck. How does it feel so good? How do you feel so good?”

“It’s because we were made for each other,” he says, kissing me. I feel his palms rubbing against my breasts, and then he stills and explodes before collapsing onto me. I stare into hiseyes, and he kisses me. His hand reaches back down to my clit, and he rubs me a few more times before I feel myself exploding.

"Fuck. How does this feel so good?” I can’t stop moaning and I can tell that he loves it.

"Because," he says. "It's always going to be like this between us. We're magic, Juniper. You and I, we were made for each other."

Epilogue

“Why do you have that look on your face?” Remington’s eyes narrow as he watches me staring at Gabe. I hide my grin from him, but I love seeing him jealous.

“What look?” I give him my most innocent look and squeeze his thigh. We’re sitting next to each other in a bar with Max, Lila, Kingston, Skye, Skye’s best friend Elisabetta, Liam, and Gabe. Gabe was leaning back in his seat, staring at his phone while everyone chatted and I couldn’t help but think that he was the only partner left at the firm that wasn’t in a relationship.

“You’re staring at Gabe like you want to eat him.” He growls into my ear. “Do I have to spank you in front of everyone?”

“You wish.” I giggle, rolling my eyes. “I was just thinking we need to find a woman for Gabe. He’s the only single one of you left.”

“Well, I don’t think he’s going to hook up with Denise.” He grins and I burst out laughing at the thought of Gabe dating Denise, his temporary eighty year old assistant. “But who knows, maybe he’s into being with a cougar.”

“Nothing wrong with an older woman.” I smile and he nods, his eyes crinkling in a wicked way as he leans forward to kiss me.

“I would still love you if you were older Juniper. No need to worry.”

“I’m not worried.” I bite his lower lip and he grunts as his thighs press into mine. His fingers run up my back and tug on my ponytail, pulling my head back and he presses his lips against my neck.

“Get a room, you two.” Liam takes a long chug of his beer and shakes his head. “No wonder you didn’t want to give me Juniper.”

“You got that right.” Remington grasps my hand and presses it to his heart. “She’s taken possession of this and I’m not letting go.”

“You didn’t like anyone you interviewed?” I ask him in surprise. “Didn’t you see like ten people this week?”

“None of them were great.” He grimaces and leans back. “And I have a huge project coming up in a couple of weeks.”

“I can help.” I offer quickly and Remington frowns. “Just until he finds someone.”

“That might take forever.” Elisabetta says sarcastically. “I’m sure the lines of people wanting to work for you aren’t long.”

“You think wrong.” Liam’s blue eyes twinkle as he looks over at her. It’s obvious to me that he finds her attractive and yet, I can’t read Elisabetta at all. Though I know from Skye that she’s had a number of crazy dating episodes recently, so maybe she was down with men right now.

“I doubt it.” Elisabetta grabs her fruity drink and sips. “Doesn’t sound like a dream job to me.”
