“I swear I only just fell asleep,” Cash adds.

I just grumble something unintelligently, something that I couldn’t even tell you what I said. I have no idea; I just know that I am not happy that the alarm is going off.

Cash groans, kisses my shoulder and then I feel the bed shift, “I’m going to make coffee and wake the others up. Get dressed you two, and we can get home quicker.”

He said the magic word, well, two of them actually, home and coffee.

Jensen’s arms grab me, pulling me to him. He grumbles, “No, Ever cuddles. Not getting up. Fuck off.”

I burst out laughing at the stilted way that he speaks, “Quick cuddles and then we get up so we can go home.”

Jensen sighs, although I feel his lips tilt up against my shoulder, “Fine. But I get cuddles first.”

“I feel like I am missing out here. I have definitely got the wrong end of the stick,” Cash mutters.

“Come back to bed and have cuddles then,” Jensen replies, his voice thick with sleep.

Cash groans like it actually physically pains him to say no as he replies, “I can’t. If I come back to bed for cuddles, we will all end up going back to sleep, and we have got shit to do.”

“So sensible,” Jensen mutters.

“Get up,” Cash replies firmly.

I pull away from Jensen, and he grumbles but sits up, “I’m up. You owe me cuddles.”

“I do?” Cash asks jokingly.

Jensen’s eyes sparkle with mischief as he replies, “Yes, you do.”

“Deal,” Cash laughs, “get up.”

“Fine,” Jensen chuckles.

As Jensen and I get dressed, we hear Cash waking Quinn and Ezra up, with much of the same response that he had trying to get us up. He was even told to come cuddle instead, which made Jensen and me laugh. When we make it out to the main area of the safe house, they are just coming out of their room, both of them still in their pyjamas which is damn cute, and I snap a pic and send it to Lyric, knowing that she will appreciate it. Cash hands them both travel mugs. We really do want to get going as quickly as possible.

“Did you guys read the note we left you?” Cash asks.

“Yeah, we didn’t get in as late as we did the night before. We actually had some news ourselves,” Ezra replies, yawning.

“Oh?” I ask.

“Yeah, we’ll fill you in when we call Trick and the others, but there’s no point in telling it twice,” Jensen says.

“Sounds good, are you guys ready to go?” Cash asks us all.

I nod, along with the others and we all grab our bags, before locking the door to the safe house, sending a message to the team that oversees the upkeep of them to let them know that we’ve left and they can go in and do their thing, cleaning and that sort of thing, kind of like a holiday home I guess.

We all pile in the car, Cash, and me in the front, while Jensen, Quinn, and Ezra all pile into the back. Quinn apparently isn’t a morning person because he hasn’t said a single word and as soon as we have pulled out of the city, he rolls his sweater up under his head and promptly falls back to sleep.

“We’d better call Trick and give everyone the update before you two fall asleep as well,” I tease.

“Good idea, I can feel myself going,” Ezra replies.

Jensen yawns and nods, “Me too.”

Cash calls Trick using the link to the car so we can all hear him, and he can hear all of us.”

“Hey, is everything okay?” Trick asks immediately, “You’re calling a bit later than you did the last couple of days.”
