“We’re done talking. Moans, panting, and giggles are the only sounds allowed.”
She raises up and bites my lower lip. “I like your growls, too.”
I lift her arms above her head, rocking my body against hers. When she whimpers, I put my mouth next to her ear and growl.
“Like that?”
She breathes heavily. “Yeah. Exactly like that.”
“Good, because I feel like an animal right now.”
Chapter Sixty
Evan’s rough hands bind my wrists, causing a wave of heat to pulse out of the spot and rush down my arms, electrifying my nipples. But it doesn’t stop there. It builds and builds and curls in my stomach until the empty ache in my core makes me shake against him.
The kind of need I feel for him frightens me.
I close my eyes as the emotions well up, tightening my throat.
“Look at me, beautiful, I need your eyes on me.”
“I… I can’t.”
He kisses me again. When he shifts above me, one of his hands drops from my wrist, but he captures them both with his other hand and keeps them pinned to the bed.
I startle when he brushes his fingers lightly against my jaw, then he tips my chin up. “Look at me.”
I take a breath. Force myself to look, even though I don’t know if my heart can take it right now.
Everything inside me stills.
Novels could be written from the depth of Evan’s expression.
He licks his lips, voice rough, he asks, “You good?”
I shake my head. “I’m… really emotional.”
He clears his throat. “Me too.”
I’m trembling when he leans over and kisses me again. It’s a tender, possessive kiss.
The overwhelming emotions morph into something new. Something tangible between us.
“You’re so strong.” He breathes the words against my ear. “So perfect.”
When his warm hand slides below the shirt and frames my ribs, his voice lowers. “So mine.”
He pushes the shirt up and bares my body. When he kisses my collarbone, I moan.
The nip of his teeth makes me shudder.
“Beautiful,” he whispers brokenly against my skin causing the spot to prick with heat.
I’m moving restlessly now below him, pulling him against me with my legs.
“Don’t move your hands.”
I growl at him and he laughs. He grabs my bare hip, his fingers biting into my flesh. “Keep your hands above your head.”
