One night, and he’d turned me into a nymphomaniac. I’d never had a man care as much about my needs during sex as he had, and I envied the women he’d been with before. They’d enjoyed the same things, and I had to stop thinking that way or it was going to drive me insane!

It was a good thing that V had thought to make enough food to feed an army because I watched Bull pile his plate with three thick waffles, a large scoop of eggs, and six slices of bacon. Loco gave me a final squeeze before leaving me to step next to Bull, revealing that he was just as hungry.

My stomach rumbled and everything looked so tasty, but I found myself asking, “Do you have any yogurt?” I said it low, hoping the men wouldn’t hear her.

V nodded, but before she could open the fridge Loco spoke up, and he was not happy. “No fucking yogurt, Millie.” V and I both froze at the slight anger in his voice. “Your curves are hot.”

I blushed at his compliment. The look he gave me left no doubt that he meant every word.

“Like holding on to a woman who feels like a woman when I’m fucking her.”

Ohmygod! He didn’t! I stood frozen as I went into shock. I couldn’t take my eyes off of him as he began to stuff his face, looking all satisfied. I’d never heard a man come right out and say something so sexually explicit before, and in the presence of others. He’d come right out and informed everyone that we’d had sex! The heat of embarrassment spread up my neck.

V’s horrified expression revealed that she felt for me. Bull was blissfully ignorant as he closed his mouth around a forkful of eggs. I didn’t even have the wherewithal to roll my eyes. I picked up a plate and put some breakfast on it, joining them at the small table. The next few minutes were spent eating in silence.

Bull broke the silence by getting up from the table. “Waffles were damned good, baby.” He took his plate and cup to the sink.

“Ditto that.” Loco followed suit. On his way back, he stopped behind my chair and dropped his hands to my shoulders. As he leaned over, I automatically glanced up, and he swooped down and gave me a lusty kiss. “What you got going on the rest of the day?”

“I have a couple of jobs to take care of,” I replied, still looking up at him.

“What time you get done?”

“Five. Why?”

“I’ll come by and get ya. Take you to my clubhouse out in the desert.”

I found myself agreeing before I could even think about it. “Okay.”

Then he surprised me by inviting V. “You want to come? I can bring the truck.”

V and I exchanged a look. I was okay with it because I wouldn’t know anyone at Loco’s clubhouse, but I could tell from her expression that she was going to decline. “I’d better not. I have an early shift in the morning.”

He nodded. “Don’t worry if Millie doesn’t come home tonight.”

His comment surprised me, but I didn’t question it.

Bull came back into the room, drawing all of our attention. I hadn’t even noticed him leave. He slipped his phone in his back pocket. “Gotta go.” Why was he looking at Loco so seriously? I got the impression that more was being spoken between them with that look than Bull’s brief comment would suggest. Then he turned to V. “Window and door are good now. Be back later to fix your bed.”

“Your bed! What’s wrong with your bed?” I asked.

V’s cheeks turned red with her smile. “Remember the crack I told you about?”

“The one you glued back together?”

She nodded. “It finally broke.”

We just stood there staring at each other for a minute, and then I realized what shewasn’tsaying. “Oh.” Interesting. Had my friend also gotten lucky the night before?

Bull went on to say, “Don’t know when I’ll be back. Gonna ask TJ to hook you up with a security alarm.”

I watched V’s eyes grow round. “What? No! That won’t be necessary after today. I’m going to register a complaint to the police and take out a restraining order.”

Loco snorted.

“Told you it would be handled,” Bull insisted firmly. “Don’t involve the law.”

“But—”
