I huffed out a laugh, noticing his split lip. “It won’t hurt?”

He stepped into my space, curled an arm around my waist, and jerked me against him. “Yeah, but it’s not gonna stop me from kissing my woman.”

He slammed his mouth down on mine and I was lost.

Chapter 34

Loco

I was going to consume Millie, and not just her soft mouth. I was going to feast on her tits until they were red and swollen by my whiskers. I was going to suck and bite her nipples until she was squirming and begging me for more. And then I was going to lick and nibble my way down her delectable curves until I reached her juicy cunt, and tongue her until she screamed my name. I was going to fucking own every part of her until she was so exhausted she couldn’t move.

Hell, I probably wouldn’t be able to move by the time I was done loving on her. I’d thought of little else the last few days, and coming close to death had ramped up my need to be with her. I needed release of the adrenaline that was still running hotly through my system, and she was the only one who could bring me calm.

As I worked my mouth over hers, I felt her submit. She opened her sweet lips to me and I accepted the invite, groaning as I entwined my tongue with hers in a battle neither of us could win. I explored her mouth, and the taste of passion that exploded on my taste buds caused me to delve deeper. As her arms came up to circle my neck, I sucked in the clean, alluring fragrance clinging to her hair and body and pulled away reluctantly.

We were both breathing hard.

“Much as I’d like to lay you down right here and fuck you, I need a shower, baby. I’m filthy as fuck.” I ran my nose down hers.

“I don’t care,” Millie panted, her eyes glazed over with arousal.

Her eagerness brought a grin to my face. “I know, but I care. Ten minutes, I promise.” I was just as eager to get back to her. As I walked away, I heard her close and lock the door.

“Do you want anything to eat or drink?” she called after me.

“I plan on eating you, babe, and drinking from your pussy.”

Corny words, I knew, and I’d caught her responding laugh as I entered the bathroom. I stripped in record time and jumped into her shower, turning the water on hot. I didn’t give a fuck that I was soaping my hair and body up with a floral scent, I just wanted to get clean and back to my woman. I was going to rip off that little bit of lace covering her body and lose myself in the way that I needed to after every job I’d been on. Especially one that hadn’t gone as planned.

The memory came back to me in stark clarity.

Thank fuck none of us had ended up dead. Thank fuck the Steel Riders had shown up when they had and backed us up in a fight that we were outnumbered in. Just as we’d anticipated, the fucking Soul Reapers had set up an ambush down the road and were laying in wait, coming up behind us with bullets flying through the air. Sax and I had been forced to veer off the road into a ravine or be shot down. He’d been thrown from his bike and knocked unconscious, and I’d been pinned down by my bike.

The ledge we’d landed near had given the Soul Reapers the advantage, and a barrage of bullets had rained down on us. I’d managed to grab one of Sax’s arms and drag him closer to me until most of his body was under the lip of the outcrop. Sheer willpower and determination had given me the strength I’d needed to drag myself and my bike until we were partially hidden. It’d been a miracle none of the bullets had hit us in the legs.

It had taken me a few minutes to work my way out from under my bike. In the meantime, Sax had slowly come to. I’d darted a look his way long enough to see him raise his hand slowly to his forehead with a groan. “Sax! Get up, Brother!” I remembered the dread I’d felt when I’d gone to pull my gun and found it gone. I’d sworn a blue streak and searched the ground for it, locating it in the dirt beyond where we were holed up. “Fuck!” I’d known that I would be a sitting duck if I went out for it.

I’d had no idea what Bam Bam and Body were going through. It had sounded like a fucking war above us. All I could hear at the time was gunfire and shouting, and I’d thanked fuck that the windows on the truck were bulletproof. They’d managed to hold the Soul Reapers off until some of Tiny’s brothers had ridden up on the scene.

All hell had broken loose at that point.

“Shit,” I’d heard Sax groan as he moved into a sitting position.

It hadn’t taken him long to figure out what was happening.

He’d glanced over at me. “Where’s your gun?”

I’d motioned with a jerk of my head in the direction it lay in the dirt.

“Shit.” His eyes had rolled upward. “Is all of that the Soul Reapers?” He was referring to the gunfire.

I’d shaken my head. “Heard others arrive while you were out, think some of Tiny’s brothers joined in.”

“We gotta get the fuck out of here.”

Sax had moved to leave the protection of the overhang just as dirt and rocks began to rain down on us. It hadn’t taken a genius to figure out that someone was making their way down the ravine, and by the sound of it, they were in a hurry. It was then that it occurred to me that some of the Soul Reapers might be trying to escape.

My eyes had landed on my gun again, and I decided to go for it. I rushed out into the open and made a grab for it. Just as I was about to curl my hand around the grip, a shot had gone off, and my gun flew several feet away. I’d turned to face the barrel of a gun, a triumphant smirk on the Soul Reapers’ face who was about to end my life. Another fucker was right on his heels.
