“Well, you’re right about that. Can’t argue with you there. So what are you saying? Justsend itand and see where this takes us?”

He lets out an all too familiar boyish laugh before planting another kiss on my lips, holding my hand tighter.

“You’re starting to sound like me. I think you said it better than I could, because that’s exactly what I’m thinking. We’re just along for the ride. Let’s just enjoy this and see where it goes, ok?”

He takes his other hand, running it over my braids, sending shivers through me as he plants another comforting kiss on my forehead.

My head is spinning. The idea of a fling with Tanner with no preset expectations seems insane.

No, itisinsane.

Completely unplanned, no agenda, no itinerary. Tanner saidmy body is yoursand I kind of like the sound of that.

“Ok, Tanner. Screw it. I’m along for this ride with you.”

Mudroom, Part 2

What am I getting myself into? I should be anxious right now, but I’m not. This is so unlike me.

But the idea of a man this incredibly gorgeous, one that I trust, telling me his body ismineto useas my own playground… is insanely hot to say the least. He would definitely be an upgrade over the toys in my nightstand.

Somehow my anxiety is replaced with excited anticipation. Sitting next to Tanner on the couch in the front of the fireplace is so oddly comforting that I can’t help but feel grounded in the moment here and now.

“I don’t know about ridingalong with me,but I definitely wouldn’t mind youridingme.” His words come unexpectedly, his deep, raspy voice, now lustful.

Yes, excited anticipation is an understatement. I look back into his eyes. Fuck, he’s so hot. I feel my body clench.

“Too bad they’re going to be back any minute,” he continues, a hint of disappointment in his voice. Me too, Tanner, me too.The thought of riding his cock that was just in my mouth is frighteningly enticing.

“Speaking of them, are we saying anything or…?” I ask, palms up, shrugging my shoulders.

“Oh, fucking hell no. I know Collin almost as well as you, but when it comes to this, I have no fucking clue how he’ll react,” he says as a terrified look takes over that calm and confident face. I can’t help but laugh at his brutal honesty and terrified look. “What’s so damn funny, Ronni?”

“In all the years I’ve known you, I don’t think I’ve ever seen you scared of anything. It’s an interesting look for you.” I tease, my wry smile taunting him. His expression softens, his trademark calmness returning.

“Very funny. But on that note, what’s on your plan for tomorrow, Ronni? I’m assuming you have dinner planned out.”

“Let’s see.” I trail off, pretending to flip through my imaginary paper planner. “Tomorrow was going to be carryout from Momo Hut. Why, what are you thinking?”

I look at him, a sly smirk on his face. He’s clearly got something in mind.

“So the owner of one of the places I manage is out of town most of the time, and he’s actually pretty chill. He has a guesthouse with a hot tub he lets me use when I feel like it, as long as he’s not in town. Would you be down to bring the carryout over to the guesthouse and the four of us can have a night in a private hot tub? It’s actually walking distance from here, just a couple streets over.” His expression shifts. He looks genuinely excited, eagerly awaiting my response.

“I mean it sounds awesome. But you’re telling me this guy doesn’t mind you using his hot tub or guesthouse? It’s the holidays, doesn’t he have renters?” After a few days of skiing, a night at a hot tub does sound great though and I’m sure it would be an easy sell to Collin and Lizzy.

A snort of laughter escapes that beautiful face.

“Let’s just say this guy isn’t worried about rental income. He’s loaded. You’ll have a great time. Trust me. Besides, there’s something I want to show you there.” He’s all smiles again, looking excited at the prospect of surprising me.

“Is that some kind of euphemism, Tanner?” I tease, flicking one of my braids over my shoulder.

“Maybe? Is that a yes though? You still haven’t answered my question,” he says, his voice lustful and raspy again as his eyes lower.

“Ok, yes. Let me bring it up to Collin and Lizzy and you can finish selling it.”
