Micah grinned. “Theyetis the important part. But you’re part of my pack and that comes with a whole lot of family.”
I dragged him closer so he and Jesse could sandwich me in a hug. “Hormones are so dumb.”
“You cry if you need to,” Micah insisted. “Want me to run you a bath?”
“Only if you get in it with me.”
“Twist my rubber arm. Let me go get the water running.”
Micah left me with Jesse to complete his task and I looked up at my other alpha, tears slipping over my cheeks. “There’s not enough touching now.”
“Well, we can’t have that. Let’s go supervise so he can hold on to you at the same time.”
I plastered myself to Micah’s side and kept hold of Jesse’s arms so he was stuck to my back.
“Too many clothes,” I mumbled.
“Don’t have to tell me twice,” said Micah. He stripped out of his shirt before helping me out of my dress.
I turned expectantly to Jesse and he dutifully stripped down. Once we were all naked and the bath had a bit of water in it, they helped me into it and got me resting comfortably, my back to Micah’s chest and my legs over Jesse’s lap. Bless whoever made pack-sized bathtubs standard in pack houses. I could probably squeak Bryce and Luke in here too, but it would be a snug fit. That wouldn’t bother me, but they might have some feelings about it.
“What do you think they’re doing?” I asked.
Micah traced his fingertips down my arms and Jesse massaged my feet until I almost forgot my question.
“Are you two trying to distract me?”
“You’re the one who invited us into the bath, angel,” Micah reminded me.
“Don’t worry about them,” Jesse ordered. “They’ll work things out or they won’t, and if they don’t, we’ll invest in that get-along shirt until they do. Your only task right now is to decompress after the party.”
“Callie and her pack seem really nice. Can we hang out with them again?”
“Sure we can,” replied Micah.
“I’ve been having wild fantasies about our babies being best friends.”
“It’ll definitely be nice having another pack with little ones,” Jesse agreed. “If you don’t want the families coming over to help, you should tell us that now so we can start weaning them off the idea.”
“I don’t have any problem with them coming over. I’m kind of down a mom right now, so I don’t mind borrowing yours. What do I call them?”
“Their names?” Micah asked, sounding confused.
“Some in-laws prefer it more formal, or way more intimate. I don’t know what they want.”
“I don’t think any of them will mind either way,” Jesse said. “Call them whenever you feel comfortable with.”
“That is wildly unhelpful.” I pouted. “You’re supposed to have answers for me.”
“Compromise and mix in mama with their first name?” Micah suggested.
“Mama Marisol and Mama Mary? That’s not confusing with their names being close?”
“Mom’s friends call her Sol, if that helps,” said Jesse.
“Mama Sol is cute. I can work with that. I was worried it would be weird, that people would think something was wrong with me not having my mom there.”
“The whole family got it through the grapevine that your mom is on visiting probation for putting you in danger,” said Micah. “They’re protective as hell about the people they care about, and they have zero tolerance for bullshit like that.”
