“I’m sure you will, but I’m still coming. This is a lot of new things in one day that you and Micah are already very comfortable with. I know you’re not going to do anything intentionally, but I would still feel better being the voice of reservation going into this.”

I half expected Luke to tell him off, but instead he only shrugged and said, “Suit yourself.”

It was sweet how concerned Bryce was with my comfort and safety. He did make a valid point that I was the only newbie in this situation, and I wasn’t mad about having an extra person at my back.

Jesse popped his head into the room. “Are we ready to go?”

“As I’ll ever be.”

“You look so good as a redhead.” Callie adjusted the wig we had chosen, curling the ends to give it a little extra bounce.

“I do look pretty cute.” I examined myself in the mirror, marveling at how the simple change in hair color, the addition of bangs, and the chunky black glasses completely transformed my appearance. “The glasses won’t get too messy?”

“Better the glasses than your eyes,” she said with a laugh. “We have a bunch of replacements, so you can trade them out as needed.”

“Good to know.” I turned back to her. “Motherhood really suits you. You’re so glowy.”

Callie laughed again. “That’s because I’m getting a full night’s sleep. My pack are very serious about me resting and they’re taking such good care of the babies.”

I was relieved for her. Her pack seemed so sweet and dedicated, both to her and to their children. As nervous as I was about everything—the filming, Charlotte’s arrival and the conversation we needed to have, the birth—I was excited to see my mates holding our first baby.

“Okay, you’re all ready.” Callie’s sweet smile was reassuring. “Just try to relax. Luke and Micah know what they’re doing. They’ll make sure you forget all about the cameras and none of my pack will be around for the filming.”

I nodded, taking as deep a breath as I could manage. She led me out, showing me where Bryce and Jesse would be observing behind a glassed-off section where Callie would be monitoring the camera feeds.

“Damn, sweetness.” Jesse twirled his finger in the air, a silent request for me to spin so he could see the full costume. “You don’t even look like yourself.”

“That’s the idea.” I moved my palms over the satiny emerald fabric. We had picked a wrap dress because it flattered every curve and showed off my bump, plus the color looked gorgeous with the red hair. “Kiss for luck?”

“Like I’d ever say no.” He tugged me close and devoured my red-painted mouth. Luckily it was a lip stain so the color wouldn’t budge no matter what they did to it.

When I opened my eyes again, Bryce was in front of me too. “Two kisses is double luck, isn’t it?”

“Pretty sure it is.” His kiss had my toes curling, like he was trying to claim me with his lips alone even though I was already his.

Luke and Micah waited for me in the actual studio space, dressed in matching tight black T-shirts and dark jeans. We weren’t doing any sort of role-play today, just testing the waters as ourselves, with no heat to guide things, and no story to follow.

“We’ll be right here,” Callie told me. “You won’t be able to hear us, but we can hear you. Pause anytime you need. I want you to have the best possible experience.”

“Okay.” I laced my fingers together beneath my bump, taking in sips of air at a measured pace while half of my alphas disappeared into the booth with Callie, and the other two waited expectantly for me.

Nerves and desire clashed, but I managed to take a careful step forward, the shiny black heels clicking against the floor. Micah met me first, his hand sweeping up to cup the side of my face and draw me into a kiss that had me panting as he pulled away. I squeaked when the heat of Luke’s body pressed up against my back. He must have moved while Micahwas distracting me. Callie was right; it was easy to forget the cameras.

Luke moved the red hair aside and dropped his mouth to my throat, teeth scraping over the curve in a quiet promise. “My mark is going right there,” he whispered in my ear.

Heat rolled through me. “Put it there right now.”

It wouldn’t do anything to form a bond, but I wanted his teeth on me anyway. He bit down and my whole body arched like a bow as I rose onto my toes with a ragged cry, my fingers locking onto Micah’s shirt for balance.

“Can’t let him have all the fun,” Micah said with an easy smile before he bent down and bit the other side of my throat.

“Fuck.” Pleasure washed over me so strongly I almost sank to my knees, but they held tight, keeping me upright between them.

Their simple touches lit an inferno in me. They passed me back and forth between them, alternating kisses that left me lightheaded with bites trailing down my throat. Micah spun me around and undid the tie of the dress, opening up the emerald fabric to expose the plethora of heated skin beneath it.

I swallowed hard. My nipples pebbled against the emerald lace and slick soaked into the matching panties.

“You are so fucking beautiful,” Micah crooned in my ear.
