I nodded. “It sounds really good. And like I probably could’ve cooked that for myself.”

“You don’t cook a sandwich, Vera.”

“You do.” I sat at the island and watched him pull stuff out. “Look at all that. That’s cooking.”

“I’m just stacking things together. You wouldn’t call playing with Legos cooking, would you?” He stopped moving and just stared at me. “Let me just say this and get it out of the way. Okay?”

My brows furrowed. “Okay?”

“We’ve known your brothers for a very long time. We met them at the very beginning of our time in the service and there were several occasions when we saved each other's asses. The loyalty we feel towards them is deserved.”

I swallowed and accepted I was being rejected. “Okay. I get it.”

“No, you don’t. You’re not betraying anyone when you touch us, Vera. Every time we touch you, we’re crossing a line your brothers wouldn’t accept. Choosing you isn’t just choosing to fuck you. It’s choosing to fuck you and to fuck over your brothers.”

I tucked my hands between my thighs and shrugged. “I don’t know what you want me to say. I’ll stop pushing.”

“You have a hard time hearing things out.” He stood across the island from me. “You’re also a brat. That glass earlier? I should’ve let Reed show you why that shit is unacceptable.”

“Okay, asshole. Now you’re just insulting me. What do you want from me?”

“Everything you promised.”

I opened my mouth to retort and then stilled. “What did I promise?”

“Your body. Your virginities.” He held my gaze and slowly licked his lips. “We weren’t going to do the lessons all the way before. We were trying to be as responsible as possible, but that’s all done now. Now, the lessons are real and they’re just going to get more intense, Hellcat.”

I gasped. “You were lying to me before?”

Lennon’s voice came from right behind me. “You want to focus on the part where we’re going to fuck you in every way you could ever want to try?”

Reed showed up at my other side. “No more rules about when we have lessons.”

I looked between the three of them and blew out a slow breath. “Okay. So… Now?”

Reed pressed himself into me and gripped the back of my neck. “No.”

I leaned into his warmth. “Why not?”

“Because you acted like a brat. You stressed Mills out and made a mess. You don’t get to treat us and our house any way you want just because you’re unhappy, Hellcat.” He moved his hand into my hair and pulled it to lift my face to his. “No matter how much we want to stuff you full of our cocks, we don’t reward bratty behavior.”

I frowned. “Fine.”

He raised an eyebrow. “Fine?”

I hardened my face. “Fine. I’m not going to beg. If y’all are so unaffected by me that you can wait, then I can wait, too.”

He growled. “You don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Leaning away from him until his grip on my hair stung, I met his glare with one of my own. “Maybe I was wrong. I want to be wanted. Desperately. You clearly don’t feel that way.”

“I thought you just wanted to rid yourself of your virginity.” Dean slid a plate over to me, a tall sandwich presented perfectly with a pickle.

“If you three can change your plans, then so can I.” I grabbed the plate and knocked Reed’s hand away. “Thanks for the sandwich.”
