Page 7 of Puck Me Better

My first instinct was to call one of my friends who was at the party last night, but then I changed my mind. I need a neutral party who can objectively help me process everything that may or may not have happened last night.

A vision of me kissing each one of them pops into my head. It's more vivid than the last image. If I concentrate hard enough, maybe I can recall what they said.

When I make love to you, it will be when you're sober, so you'll remember all nine inches of me plunging into your tight, wet hole.

I gasp at the words I remember Maverick whispering in my ear when I was basically grinding on his lap.

Their voices carry into the bathroom. I place my ear against the door to try and hear what they are saying, but I only catch a few words here and there.

"Tell someone they're green."

"Passed out."

"Date."

My head begins to spin at the half of a conversation I'm hearing. Abandoning the door, I head over to the toilet and sit down on the lid, intending to call Heidi, the one person who I hope won't judge my behavior.

She picks up on the fourth ring, "Hey, Cassi. What's up?" She whispers into the phone.

"Why are you whispering?" I whisper back in case my overnight guests are still in my bedroom.

"I'm not whispering—you're the one whispering." She whispers back.

My head hurts too bad to continue this argument. "I'm whispering because Maverick, Ace, and Dalton spent the night, and they are still in my bedroom," I think. I haven't heard their voices in a while.

"OMG!" She shout-whispers into the phone, "You had sex with three guys last night!"

"Um, I'm not sure. I mean, I'm pretty sure we didn't have sex last night." And by pretty sure, I mean I'm almost positive we didn't have sex, or I'd be sore in places I'm not used to being sore in. "I can't really explain over the phone—can you come over later today?" It will give me some time to piece the night together.

"Actually, I'm a little tied up today. Can we meet at your place tomorrow afternoon?"

"Sure. I'll see you around one tomorrow afternoon."

Heidi confirms the time and then hangs up without saying goodbye to our weird, whispered conversation.

The pills are beginning to kick in, and I'm feeling a little more human. A shower is exactly what I need to finish the job. Now, if only I could figure out exactly what happened last night between Maverick, Ace, Dalton, and me, all would be right in the world again. And I can go back to being the cold-hearted sports agent who's sarcastic and always in control.

"So, what happened atGirls' Night?" Heidi might only be eighteen, but she is wise beyond her years.

"I'm not a hundred percent sure, but I've pieced a lot of it together." I grab my notebook from the coffee table. Since I stepped out of my bathroom after showering to find all threeof the guys gone, I started writing down everything I could remember from the night before.

I rattle off everything from the kitchen when they asked me to be their sports agent to playing a drinking game with Fin and Talen, throwing myself at each of them, and waking up with them sleeping on my floor this morning.

"Wow, that's a lot to process. And you're sure none of them took advantage of you? And did you really quote the movie Top Gun?"

I'm pretty sure." They were so darn cute when they were half asleep on my floor worried that they were going to wake me up, I can't image they would take advantage of anyone. "I'm positive nothing happened, and I'm also positive I quoted Top Gun." I cringe at the memory.

"Okay, fine. If nothing happened, what are you going to say to them tomorrow? Aren't you meeting with them to discuss the possibility of you taking them on as clients?"

Shoot, she's right. How can I look them in the eyes tomorrow while staying professional after I threw myself at them and now that I know how long and hard their cocks felt against my lace-covered pussy as I ground on them in my drunken attempt to seduce them. "That's simple. I'll have the contract ready for them. All they'll have to do is take it to their lawyer and then sign it. They'll only be in my office for ten, maybe fifteen minutes tops."

Heidi quirks an eyebrow, not saying a word. But that look says it all. She doesn't believe it will be that easy to sweep Friday night's little incident under the rug.

Giving her my own version of an eyebrow raise, I launch into the solid defense of my strategy, "Look, all they really want from me is my negotiating skills, not my bedroom skills." I inwardly laugh at the idea. I can't remember the last time I had sex unless you count a vibrator as having sex. Because then my answer would be twice this morning and a few times yesterday as I try to quelch my body's desire for three guys I can never have. "It's actually a win-win situation. The more player I have on the Norse team, the stronger I can make all their contracts."
