Jackson shrugs. “I say yes. We could keep her for a while, torment her brother,thenkill him. Sounds more fun than just killing him outright.”

Ash crosses his arms over his chest and nods in agreement. “We might actually get information out of her, too, which could prove valuable.”

Yeah, okay. “But we risk letting a viper into our den…”

Ash scoffs. “You just saw her—she’s terrified. What damage could she do? We take her phone, cut off her contact with the outside world…” He shrugs. “Easy.”

Jackson nods, thinking. “Yup, and we could make it known that we have her. Send Sin photos and shit. Twist the knife…”

I glance at Christian, who’s lighting up a blunt. He lowers himself into one of the tufted leather chairs, tilts his head back, and opens his mouth, allowing a billow of smoke to escape.

He looks calm, but I know better. There’s a spark of something in his eyes—a dark interest—and I know what it means. He’s gotten his first hit of Eden Savano, and he wants more.

“If she wants to pay for her brother’s sins,” Christian says with a shrug. “Then, I say, we let the bitch pay…”
