It was disconcerting to feel something other than lust orgratitude for a woman he was in bed with. Those were simple emotions, and whatwas going through his brain was complex.
He wanted her because she was warm and safe and knew how togive a man everything he could possibly need.
He wanted to walk away from her because he didn’t trust thisfeeling. Safety was an illusion. Safety and warmth could go away in aheartbeat.
Damn it. He was not getting into this. He was willing tocede the argument that maybe…just maybe he had…it made him slightlyill…abandonment issues. But they were not going to ruin his blow job.
Her eyes softened like she could feel what was going throughhis head, and then she scraped her teeth lightly against his skin, bringing himback into the moment.
She was hot when she was being sensitive to his feeling. Onefeeling. Only one. He could shove the feeling away and concentrate on how goodher mouth felt. How hot and sexy she was. How nice it felt to know he wouldwake up with her in the morning.
Fuck it. She was turning him into… He wasn’t even sure whathe was turning into, but it was weird and he wasn’t sure he liked it.
She sucked him hard, taking him to the back of her throatand then groaning as she obviously found her pleasure. Wyatt let out a littleshout, and then Sawyer was going over the edge. He held her head, forcing herto take all of him as he filled her mouth. All thought flew away as he rode thewave of his orgasm, the sensation pulsing through him like a heartbeatconnecting to her own.
Yeah, he’d thought that.
Sabrina leaned back, swallowing and then licking her lips inthe most outrageously sexy way. “Well, if I’d known all I had to do to get youtwo to double team me is use a stun gun on a couple of guys, I would have doneit way sooner.”
He heard the sharp sound of a hand smacking flesh, and shewhimpered.
“Don’t remind me,” Wyatt said, stepping back. “I just calmeddown. Now I need a beer.”
He could use one, too. “Make it two.”
“Three,” Sabrina said as Wyatt made his way to the bar. Andthen her eyes widened and she grimaced.
Sawyer couldn’t help but grin. “You lost the plug?”
She nodded and looked so adorable.
Yep, he was fucked. He was going to have to find a way tofix the mess because he was rapidly coming to the conclusion he didn’t want tolive without either one of them.
ChapterThirteen
Wyatt stood at the edge of the woods, snow clinging to hisboots, hoping he’d made it out of the cabin without waking Sawyer or Sabrina. He’d gotten the text he’d been waiting for hours after they’d finally gone tobed. Sabrina had fallen asleep against him, but at some point she’d turned andended up with her head on Sawyer’s chest.
It had been his first lucky break of the entire lasttwenty-four fucking hours.
He’d slipped out of bed and gotten on his laptop. He’dfinished the job because there was zero way his brother didn’t show up andsoon.
He didn’t want Wayne to decide to meet him at the cabin. Hedidn’t want Wayne to know there was a cabin at all.
So he’d texted his brother and told him to meet him at Hellon Wheels if he wanted his accounts.
As he’d suspected, his brother had told him he’d be there inhalf an hour and not to be late.
He’d known the fucker was in town and probably seethingsince he wouldn’t be able to get his people out of jail until tomorrow.
He’d known the fucker wasn’t back in Colorado Springs.
The purr of an engine let Wyatt know it was time to come outof the shadows.
Would his brother finally take a knife to his throat? Hadn’the been expecting it since the moment he’d told Wayne he wanted out and hewould do it one way or another? He’d told his brother he would either let himgo or Wyatt would go to the police and hand over everything he had on the club.
That was when they’d made their devil’s bargain. The onethat could cost Wyatt everything.
As he stepped out of the tree line and onto the gravel ofthe parking lot, he realized he hadn’t gotten out alone.
