He kissed the top of her head, his whole body languid andsatisfied. “Very successful, and it’s not an experiment. It’s us.”

She smiled at him. “It’s us.”

Wyatt sat up. “Before we say us…”

He picked up a pillow and smacked his partner in the face.“Shut up, Eeyore. We’re not going anywhere.” That wasn’t right. “Except backinto Bliss because we have to tell Talbot he’s got a stick up his ass.”

“Well, I’m planning on being more subtle,” Sabrina admitted, settling down. “Especially now that I know how it feels.”

Wyatt dissolved into laughter and wrapped himself aroundher.

For a moment, they were happy.

Sabrina stepped out of the shower and wished they didn’thave a meeting to go to. She glanced at the clock and realized they had lessthan an hour to make the eight o’clock start time.

Would everyone look at her and know she just had wild, crazy, double penetrative sex with two hot men?

Probably, but then most of the women in town were wellexperienced in the scenario. Including her sister, who would absolutely takeone look at her and know she’d done the deed. She hoped Elisa didn’t high-fiveher in front of everyone.

“You okay?” Wyatt stood in the doorway, already dressed injeans and a Western shirt, though his hair was still wet from the shower thethree of them had shared.

Sawyer had gotten in and out, more concerned about dinnerthan he was in having long, slow romantic time underneath a stream ofsurprisingly hot water. He had an excellent water heater.

Proving he was serious about his earlier speech concerningpartnership, Wyatt had simply stepped up and kissed her long and slow andrubbed his hands all along her skin while he cleaned her up. He hadn’t leftuntil she’d washed her hair. He’d kissed her and told her not to be too long.

Because he had a confession to make. One he’d been holdingin for so long.

The look on his face told her he was anxious again. Shetrusted this anxiety wasn’t about leaving. They’d settled this between thethree of them. No, it was about telling them the truth. He needed to relaxbecause there was no way this discussion of his didn’t go well. They weretogether. They would get through whatever they had to. So maybe a bit ofself-deprecation was needed to break the tension. “I was wondering if Elisawill take one look at me and know my asshole is sore.”

The admission earned her a high-wattage smile from hishandsome face. “Somehow, I think you’ll tell her. You’re not exactlywithholding with your sister.”

And the frown was back as he obviously considered what he’dsaid.

She moved into his space, putting a hand on his chest. “Ilove my sister. I tell her everything about me, but it doesn’t mean I can’tkeep a secret, Wyatt. I can keep any secret you want me to.”

“The trouble is I’m starting to think I was wrong forkeeping the secret in the first place,” he admitted, dropping his forehead tohers. “I worry I made a poor choice by leaving the MC the way I did. A cowardlychoice.”

A low groan came from the living room, and Bella bounded in.“Do we have to do the whole ‘I should have risked my life to take my brotherdown’ drama right now? I made us PB and J’s.”

She was going to have to do something about their diet, though she had to admit peanut butter and jelly sounded good after all thephysical exertion of the last couple of hours.

Had it only been a few hours since she’d sat in herclassroom worried she would lose Wyatt, and now she wasn’t at all anxious aboutthis secret he had to tell her. She wanted to get through it so they could makea plan. They would discover she was excellent when it came to planning. Shecould organize a classroom. She could certainly organize revenge. Wyatt’sbrother deserved some nasty revenge. Wyatt, however, wasn’t thinking straight. He was lost in his own fear and guilt. “Wouldn’t taking your brother down haveimplicated you?”

He hadn’t exactly wanted to launder money for his brother, but here they were.

“I could have cut a deal.” Wyatt stepped back, giving herspace, though Bella danced around them both, taking up her own. “I could havesmuggled out records and gone to a prosecutor my brother doesn’t own.”

Sawyer leaned against the doorjamb, winking Sabrina’s way.“Hey, Teach. You’re looking good. Need a bag of frozen peas to sit on?”

Sabrina felt herself flush. It actually sounded kind ofnice, but she was trying to keep her dignity and she wasn’t showing up to aschool board meeting with a cold pack against her ass. “I’m fine, thank you. Ibarely notice.”

Sawyer’s grin kicked into high gear. “Then I obviouslydidn’t do it right and we need to start all over again.” He sighed. “But firstwe should deal with Wyatt’s delusions about how the justice system works.”

No one needed a lecture on how hard it would have been totake down the Horde. “He’s feeling selfish for saving himself. But sometimesyou have to in order to do more good in the world.” She dropped the towel andmoved to where her suitcase sat, pulling out the clothes she would need for theevening.

“You do not have to put on clothes,” Sawyer murmured.
