Lucinda licked and sucked like her life depended on it until Becky was riding her tongue. Becky took out the vibrator from inside Lucinda and rolled it over Lucinda's clit. Hot breath escaped from Lucinda's mouth at the sensation. She groaned against Becky's skin.
"God, I'm gonna come. Don't stop," Becky said, quickly moving the vibrator over Lucinda.
Lucinda followed her command until Becky came hard on Lucinda's face. Lucinda followed closely behind, the vibrator blinding her senses. Becky dropped to the other side of her, the bed dipping from the force. The two women breathed heavily, their heartbeats pounding in their ears.
"Did I receive high marks?" Lucinda asked.
"High marks?" Becky threw an arm over her eyes, trying to catch her breath,
Lucinda paused, putting on her best Americanaccent, which was actually terrible. "Did I get a good grade?"
Becky’s laugh rang out through the room. "Yes, you did very well. Thank you. I fucking needed that."
"Good." Lucinda threw her arm over Becky's stomach, not ready to move yet.
In the silence, Lucinda's mind wandered back to what Artie had asked. If they were dating. She had no idea what this was between them. Becky had shown up to her apartment two times this week to have sex and then spend time together. Fuck buddies didn't hang out, right?
"Becks?"
"Hm?" Becky sounded half-asleep.
"What is it we're doing here?" Lucinda didn't look at her face.
"Aftercare," Becky mumbled.
Lucinda scoffed. "No, I mean you and me. What...what is this?"
Becky moved her arm to look down at Lucinda. She was quiet for a moment. "Um." She paused. "What do you want it to be?"
"You can't answer a question with a question," Lucinda grumbled.
Becky chuckled, stroking Lucinda's hair, "Okay. Well, I know I like you."
"Mhm."
"I definitely like the sex."
"Obviously." Lucinda smiled.
"But honestly, I haven't done something like this in a long time. I haven't really dated since my divorce."
Lucinda lifted her head to look at Becky. "Not at all?"
"I mean, I fucked around, but I've never done anything serious." Becky tucked a strand of Lucinda's hair behind her ear.
Panic cut through Lucinda like a knife at the word. She couldn't handle serious; she knew that. Iris was just some woman who kept her busy on the weekend. Lucinda hadn't done “serious” since her fiancée. And that...that had ended in chaos and pain.
Becky searched her face. “What do you want?"
"I..." Lucinda bit her lip. "I was engaged before, but we broke it off. She said my job was too demanding, that I was too cold..."
You're a fucking ice queen, Lucinda!
To be honest, the start of her career had been demanding. She was never home. The hospitalwas the only four walls she spent more than an hour in. Her ex would beg her to take off, but that's not how being a doctor worked. She served the citizens first and herself second. But Claire never understood that. Claire said she was selfish and rotten.
"Every time I get serious with someone, it just crashes and burns around me." A touch of hurt broke through Lucinda's voice.
Becky tilted her head thoughtfully as if she could read Lucinda's every thought. "Let's take this slow then. No stress, just fun. We'll have to be good during the work day, but I'm fine to do whatever you want."
