“I definitely didn’t know this either.” I plunge two fingers deep inside her while continuing to circle my tongue around her clit.
“Mmm, Porter,” she moans softly.
I trail kisses up her stomach, gathering her dress along the way. I pull the material over her head and lay her gently back down. “However, I do know this spot,” I lick and kiss the sensitive spot on her collarbone, “has always driven you crazy.”
Her hands are grasping at my back under my shirt. I reach back with one hand and pull my tee over my head, baring my naked chest to her. I lean my head down and suck her nipple into my mouth through the lace that’s barely containing her breasts anymore.
Her back arches once again, pushing her body into mine hovering over her. I explore her body like my favorite backroad on the motorcycle. Every dip, and curve, burned into my memory.
She frantically unbuttons my jeans, pushing them down as far as she can to free me. Her fingers wrap tightly around my cock. She guides me into her, giving herself the friction she desires.
I continue kissing her neck and moving inside of her. I grab her thighs, lifting them higher so I can reach deeper. “I’ve also learned that you really like this.” I pull back and slam into her over and over, bringing her closer to the edge each time.
She reaches down to touch herself, desperate for relief. I gently push her hand away and take over.
“I will be the one to make you come, baby. Only me.”
Together we come, tangled in limbs.
I nuzzle into her neck, “Have I provided enough comparison points?” I ask.
“Mmm. Definitely.” She responds sleepily.
I pick her up and carry her upstairs to the bed. I place her gently on my pillows, and kiss her forehead as she drifts off to sleep.
I go back downstairs to clean up and blow out candles before I come snuggle in my bed next to her.
Seeing her splayed across my side of the bed, is like seeing all my dreams come true before my eyes.
Chapter Nineteen
Adelaide
Waking up snuggled deep into the cozy nest that Porter and I created at some point last night is the most surreal feeling.
I find it hard to reconcile the fact that he’s really back, and really mine. The fact that this moment is real and not one of my dreams amazes me.
My phone rings, bringing me out of my daydreaming. When I let it go to voicemail and it rings again immediately, I reach my arm out of the covers to see who is calling.
Willow’s name flashes on my screen. I decline the call and send her a text.
Me: Hold on. Call you in a min.
I extricate myself from the web of limbs under the covers without waking Porter up. I slip on his tee and pad down to his kitchen to start some coffee. While the coffee is brewing I hit Willow’s name and return her call.
I set up the phone on the counter so I can start making some breakfast for Porter and I.
“About time!” She answers.
I look over at the screen to give her a hard time about yelling at me when it’s only seven in the morning, but I see her red rimmed, puffy eyes. “Willow, is everything okay?”
“No! Nothing is okay!” I abandon the ingredients for breakfast and grab my phone, heading to the couch.
“What happened? Was it your manager?” I ask her.
“Kind of. You know the singer, Calvin Taylor?”
“Um, one of the biggest country singers around right now? Yea. I’ve heard of him.” I say sarcastically.
