Stefan reaches for my hand and he locks our fingers together. Emilio mirrors his move from the other side.

“Stay,” they plead.

I’m powerless to refuse.

Adrian pushes in and slowly, not giving me his full length but enough to show me how much I would love it if he did. The bastard knows how to keep me on the edge with my senses nearly on overload.

One of them finds my clit while the other moves my hair to the side and fans my heated cheeks with kisses.

In seconds, my ass clenches around Adrian’s cock and I’m coming again.

I gasp, moan and let the heat consume me head to toe.

Adrian slowly leaves my body and pulls me into his arms again. This time he cradles me to his chest while the others come in on either side.

We sit like this for a few moments until Adrian says, “You’re ours, Stella.”

I would be a fool to read too much into the way they are carrying on. “What makes you so sure?”

Emilio brushes roughened knuckles across my cheek. He leans over and presses his lips against mine. “Because you trust us. It’s in the way you’ve curled yourself around Adrian. The way you so freely gave yourself to us. You feel the energy between us and every time I ask for a kiss, your lips reach for mine and your hand settles over my heart.” To prove a point he steals another from me and I’ll be damned if I don’t look down and see my hand is over his heart.

Stefan tips my chin until our gazes connect. “You belong to us now. And there is not a man alive who can break that bond.”

“But you don’t know me.”

“Knowing your past and knowing your soul are two different things, Stella.”

I look at Adrian and see he believes what he is saying.

I don’t know what is happening or why I can’t stop it but maybe I don't need to. Maybe it’s the magic of the season. I’m not hurting anyone and I don’t see any wedding rings on them. I don’t know how it’s possible, but all three of my lovers make me want to believe in love.

They ignite something new in me and I feel it wherever their skin touches mine. It starts small but the longer I stay in their arms the stronger the connection feels. Is it fate speaking to me?

“Stay with us and let us show you what it means to belong to the Astor family.”

“Family.” My heart latches onto that word and refuses to let go. I don’t want them to see me cry so I force the sudden tears burning my eyes into retreat.

I savor the word on my lips. They can’t possibly know the value I hold to that one word. It means the entire world to me. Having a family is myone day fantasy.

“You need to know something.”

“Shhh… we can talk later.”

“Okay.” It scares me, but instead of ruining the moment with reality, I spread my legs and let Emilio pull me to my knees.

“What are you up to?”

“We promised to erase bad memories and give you better ones.” Stefan offers with a coy smile that has my heart speeding up.

And they do, well into the night.

Tomorrow is another day. I can spoil the mood then. Once they find out the truth about me, they’ll let me down gently and thenI can go back to my books with love in my heart instead of nightmares.

I can write about men who live with their hearts on their sleeves and I can live vicariously through my words over and over again.

It’s all I can have and I’m okay with that.
