He flipped her around, so her back landed on the bed and he was hovering over her, his hands at her wrists. “You know what I think is hilarious?” He transferred both her wrists to one hand freeing one that went under her shirt to her side, right under her armpit. “How ticklish you are.”

His fingers went to work, jabbing just hard enough to make her shriek and squirm.

“Yes! The answer is, yes!” she sputtered between bouts of laughter.

He stopped his fingers. “Yes?” Even though he saw her wearing his ring, until that moment he hadn’t realized how much he needed to hear her acceptance.

She gazed up at him with eyes bright and trusting. “Anything you want, the answer is always yes.”

Releasing her wrists, he grabbed the hem of her shirt and pulled it over her head, tossing it to the side. Reaching behind his neck, he drew his shirt off and threw it next to hers. His eyes skimmed down her chest, over the lacy cups of her bra barely containing the swell of her tits, to the flat of her stomach. He placed his hand there, nearly covering the expanse. One day it would grow and swell. He was amazed how that thought didn’t scare him like it once did. Their child will be just that. Theirs. No one else’s.

His eyes came back to hers. “I love you.”

Three simple little words that held so much meaning but still didn’t even come close to what his heart really felt for her. There weren’t words to describe the depth of what he felt for her.

“I love you, too.” And in her eyes, he saw the same emotions.

His eyes fell to her mouth and unable to resist, he kissed those tempting lips. His fingers went to work, unbuttoning her jeans, pulling down the zipper. He trailed kisses down her neck to the swells of her breasts, pulling down the cup of her bra and exposing the blush of her nipple—something else he couldn’t resist. He sucked it into his mouth, tongued the hard peak, flicking it until she squirmed.

Fuck he loved making her squirm.

Growing impatient, wanting to feel her naked beneath him, he discarded her bra, pulled down her pants, and rid himself of his own. Then, lying on the bed, he brought her flush against him.

Heaven.

Fucking heaven.

He speared a hand through her hair, bringing her face close to his. “I’ve never known happiness until you.”

“And I’ve never known what if feels like to truly be in love.”

He grabbed her leg behind the knee and moved it above his hip then slowly slipped inside her.

And as he moved in and out, he stared into her beautiful green eyes and got lost in them.

Lost in her.

The feel of her heat surrounding him.

The warmth of her breath against his face.

The soft caress of her skin.

The tenderness of her touch.

The quickening beat of her heart.

And the sound of his name from her lips as she came.

Until the fire consumed them both.

“You never told me how you got here before I did.”

Blake rested with his back to the headboard. He’d stolen all the pillows, but she didn’t need them, she had him. His arm was draped around her, holding her close as her head rested on his chest.

“I had a non-stop flight.”

“Ah. Very sneaky.” Her head popped up and then she sat all the way up. “And now that I think about it, extremely mean. I was devastated leaving you, and all the while you knew you’d be here waiting for me. I think Iwillpunch you in the nose.”
