Heavy footed, he runs upstairs and leans against the doorway. “Yes, sweetheart.”

“Will you tell him I’m not piercing my clit?”

He crosses his arms over his chest, a devilish smirk tilting his lips. “You should be a good little wife and listen to your husband.” There’s no use in fighting him, he’s shirtless and wearing grey sweatpants. Asshole came prepared.

My head falls further into the pillow as I groan, “It was Vegas! We were drunk. It doesn’t count.”

Mitch nips at the inside of my thigh, making me yelp. “It absolutely counts. I’m Mr. Aces now, baby.”

I don’t regret marrying him, but I didn’t get the experience of him dropping to one knee and asking me to be his. It was more of him on both knees with his tongue on my clit and a finger in my ass—though the memory is hazy at best. It’s curious how he had his grandmother’s wedding ring on him, but he insists it was only a coincidence.

Liar.

Jasper comes closer and sits beside us on the edge of the bed. He unties my hands from the headboard and opens the top drawer of the nightstand. Pulling out two small boxes, he sets them between us and taps one twice. “You get this one if you say yes.”

I rub my wrists and sit up. Mitch is suspiciously excited as I open the other box. There are three white-gold bands, each with an engraving. “Theirs” on one and “Hers” on the other two.

“I don’t understand.”

Except, I absolutely understand. We’ve talked about having a ceremony with the three of us on the beach of a tropical island somewhere. There hasn’t been time. Jasper turned his Christmas tree farm into a year-round destination spot to now include egg hunts for Easter, a wedding venue in the summer, and a pumpkin patch in the fall. We’ve been busy, too much to even think about a vacation.

“You may be legally married to him, but you’re my wife too.”

“You totally read that in a book, asshole,” Mitch growls.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” He absolutely knows what Mitch is talking about. As much as he denies participating in Jen’s book club, he totally does. “So, what’ll it be sweetheart? Are you ready to get married?”

I let out a disappointed sigh. “You know it’s not legal.”

“Doesn’t make it any less true…Fuck it. I’m done waiting for Tahiti or wherever you two wanted to go.” Jasper takes a ring from the box and holds it up. “Amy, I love you so fucking much. Will you spend forever with me, let me tie you up any time I want, and promise you’ll never attempt to make fish chowder ever again?”

I stifle a laugh as he hands the ring to Mitch who asks, “You’re already my wife, so before you accept this ring, you have to agree to a clit piercing.”

“Fucking hell, Mitch.” Jasper snatches it back. “Don’t listen to him.”

I climb onto Jasper’s lap, straddling him. My romantic, grumpy cowboy grips my ass, pulling me closer, and I wish more than anything he was naked right now. “We don’t need a piece of paper. You’re mine.” I take the ring and slip it on my finger, joining my wedding ring. “I love you, Jasper, and I’m yours as much as I’m Mitch’s.”

Mitch takes off his wedding band, replacing it with the other one. Lifting a small compartment in the box, he pulls out a thin chain and slides his wedding ring onto it. Instead of putting it on, he clasps it behind my neck and traces the necklace down to my heart where the ring sits. “Like you said, Aces, you’re mine as much as you’re Jasper’s.” He kisses my shoulder and adds, “I love you. Always have and always will.”

“So, since I said yes, what’s in the other box?”

Jasper lightly licks his lip. “We’re going to need the lube bucket. Tonight, we’ll be filling all of you, baby. You’ll be air fucking tight.”

“Fuck, I’m so excited,” Mitch beams as he pulls out a silver plug with a red jewel at the base. He twists it, and it begins vibrating. My excitement matches Mitch’s as Jasper sets me on the bed, flips me over, and drags my ass into the air. After he adds a few drops of lube to my asshole, Mitch teases me before sliding it in. I gasp at the intrusion, and he chuckles, “Merry Christmas, ourlittle wife.”
