Oliver leans over and gives me a sultry kiss. My brain short circuits as soon as his tongue slips between my lips, and I wrap my arms around his neck, pulling him closer, not wanting the kiss to end. Oliver doesn’t seem too opposed to that because both his hands are on my butt, holding me to him. It takes Andre clearing his throat and laughing to break us apart.
“Be a good girl,” Oliver warns.
“I’m always a good girl.” I blow him a teasing kiss before leaving him and Andre to their guy talk, only slightly curious what Andre could need to talk to Oliver about. I didn’t realize they were friendly like that.
The dollhouse is hopping tonight. Several littles are playing with the dolls and tea party set, there are a few daddies playing with their babygirls… and I don’t mean with little-kid toys, if you know what I’m sayin’, then there are several guys I don’t recognize. I find Candace right where I knew she would be in our favorite corner talking and laughing with Alice and Jen.
Candace jumps up the moment she sees me and flings her arms around me. “Sugar!”
I laugh and return the hug. Alice and Jen greet me in a much more sedate way, though I can tell they are happy to see me. They might be Candace’s friends, but they welcome me into the fold anytime I’m around.
“Nice jacket,” Candace teases.
“Thanks,” I say with a blush. I haven’t really talked to Candace much about Oliver. I’m not really sure why. I think talking about him with her would make things seem that much more real, and I’m still not sure I’m ready for that. Of course, then I have to go and think about that wholeloveword, and that definitely needs a bestie intervention.
Alice scoots off her cushy beanbag chair and down to the plush carpet, she pats the fluffy surface. “Come sit, chat with us.”
“Good call giving her the softest seat in the house,” Candace snickers.
I stick my tongue out then stubbornly sit next to Jen on floor. My abused bottom screams in protest, not to mention the skirt is longer and tighter than I would typically wear if I knew I’d be sitting on the floor. I end up kind of half kneeling, half sitting. It’s awkward, but I’ll be damned if I let them tease me just because I got a spanking. They are all laughing at me as I shift uncomfortably.
“I offered the chair because of your skirt, doofus.”
I roll my eyes. Of course, she did. Alice is considerate like that. I don’t say a word as I get to my feet and then sink down onto the soft beanbag. “Thanks.”
Alice just nods. And then the third degree begins.
* * *
“Canyou believe that Lyra and Roland broke up?”
“I know,” Jen says, dramatically throwing herself against the back of the chair she’s sitting in, crossing her arms as she pouts. “They were like perfect for each other.”
I snort at that. “Seriously? He is totally a master, not a daddy at all. Of course, they didn’t work. Lyra is all little all the time.”
Three sets of eyes look at me, considering.
“Yeah, now that you mention it…”
“He does take an extra bit of joy out of administering punishments…”
They all turn their heads toward where Roland is leaning against a wall talking to one of the other daddy doms.
“Why do you suppose he plays as a daddy if that’s not what he really is?” Alice asks.
It’s Candace who makes an indelicate snorting noise. “Why does Andre claim he’s a total sadist when we all know he’s a big squishy teddy bear?” My eyes go wide when I notice Andre and Oliver approaching. I shake my head and make a shushing sound, but she just keeps going. “I mean, who is he trying to fool? So, he likes to inflict a little extra pain in a scene, but then after Andre’s one of the snuggliest aftercare providers in the club.” There is a longing note in Candace’s voice that makes me wonder if she has a thing for our mutual friend.
Interesting.
“Is that so?”
Candace jumps so high she nearly falls off her chair. “Andre! I-uh-um…”
Oliver leans over the back of my chair and gives me an upside down kiss. “I thought I told you to be a good girl.”
“I am.”
“It sounded like you were gossiping.”
