My heavy breathing fills the air.

“Time for the third one.”

Oh my God.

Oh my God.

He’s going to kill me. Drown me in pleasure and put me in a casket when it’s all over.

By the time he’sfinallyfinished, I can’t move, I can’t think, I can barely keep my eyes open. It felt like four or five orgasms he wrenched out of me.

I hum softly. My head feels fuzzy. Like floating in blissful silence, no racing thoughts, no worries, just peace. I like it.

He kisses my forehead. “I’ll go grab your hair stuff that I keep in my gym bag so I can do it for you, okay?”

“Wait.” I somehow find the energy to sit up. My hands instinctively reach for his cock, wanting to return the favor, to give him the same kind of release he just gave me. “I want to return the pleasure.”

But before I can get past his waistband, his hand gently closes over mine, stopping me. “Making you comewasmy pleasure. And I got everything I needed watching you squirming beneath me, watching your pretty little legs shake. Hearing your soft, beautiful moans. Watching your beautiful eyes roll to the back of your head when you came.”

I can’t help the soft smile that creeps across my lips. “You’re impossible.”

He chuckles. “I know.” He moves to my lips and murmurs against them, “And once you see what’s waiting for you outside, you’re gonna think I’m even more impossible.”

“You didn’t!” I gasp, eyes widening in disbelief as I stare at the sleek, brand-new sports car parked in front of me. The glossy black paint shines under the streetlights, and I can’t help but walk closer. I reach out to touch the smooth surface, half-expecting it to vanish like a dream.

Blade stands behind me, a proud grin playing on his lips. “I did.”

I spin around to face him, my heart racing. “This is insane. A car? For me?”

“It’s for protection,” he says. “So you don’t have to walk around at night anymore.”

I blink at him, trying to process his words. “All this just because Jacob followed me once?”

Blade’s expression hardens at the mention of Jacob’s name. He steps closer, his intense gaze locking onto mine. “Look,” he says, his voice low and serious. “You saw the best parts of Jacob, the parts he wanted you to see. You knew him before he… You just don’t know him like I know him. He’s dangerous. You need to just trust me on this one. Please.”

I shake my head, feeling overwhelmed. “But I can’t accept this. A sports car? This probably costs more than a year’s salary!”

He shrugs, completely unfazed. “It was just a car I had lying around collecting dust anyway. And you have no choice but to accept it. I’m not having you walking home at night anymore—”

Before he can finish, a voice cuts through the air, dripping with smugness. “Wow, nice car.”

My stomach drops, and Blade’s entire body tenses. We both turn to see Jacob standing there, hands in his pockets, a sly grin plastered on his face. My pulse quickens as Blade instinctively steps in front of me, shielding me with his body.

“Leave,” Blade growls, his voice dangerously low. And might I add, incredibly hot.

Jacob’s grin widens as he takes a slow step forward. “Come on, we’re all friends here, right?”

“Leave.” Blade’s tone is ice-cold, and I can feel the tension rolling off him in waves. His muscles are coiled, ready to strike, and my heart races as I peek around him. Please don’t let there be another fight today.

Jacob doesn’t budge. “You can’t keep me away forever,” he taunts, his voice mocking.

Then I see Blade’s hand move—quick, almost too fast to follow. There’s a glint of metal as he reaches down to his boot. I can’t tell what he’s grabbed, but Jacob’s reaction tells me everything I need to know. His smirk fades, replaced by a flash of fear. His eyes widen, hands rising slowly in surrender.

“Easy, man,” Jacob mutters, backing away with cautious steps, his gaze flicking nervously between Blade and whatever’s now in his hand. “I’m going.”

Blade doesn’t move, his body still taut like a loaded spring, ready for anything. I can feel the protective force of him like a wall between me and the threat.
