Hunt me.

I probably shouldn’t find that hot, especially given my past, but my pussy is so fucking wet that I’m tempted to shove my hands down the leggings I’m wearing, courtesy of my men, and get myself off. It would maybe help me focus because I’m so fucking turned on that it’s hard to come up with a plan. Then again, it wouldn’t surprise me if my men would be able to scent me or something.

Hell, am I downwind? Should I move?

I peek around the tree and, still, don’t see anything.

A twig snaps to my left and I cover my mouth trying to hold the gasp in that is desperate to come out. I ease away from the tree, moving to the right. Every step makes a sound, no matter how many light as air thoughts I have.

Running would make even more noise, so I try and glide as much as possible. But without shuffling because that would be worse? Fuck, I’m all over the place.

As I pick up the pace, hoping that my men are working as a unit and haven’t split up to flank me.

The farther I move away from the clearing, the more unsure I am about my tactics.

“I can smell you, Phoenix,” Wolfe’s voice booms from somewhere behind me. He takes an exaggerated breath. “You smell like your sweet pussy and a little fear.”

I almost giggle at the eager note in his voice and the ridiculousness of this situation. Adrenaline fills my veins as I move farther away from his voice while knowing full well that he could be herding me right where he wants me. That’s a risk I’m just going to have to take at this point.

While I have no doubt I won’t make it the entire hour, I can’t have them find me within ten minutes. Not this time at least. Everything in me might be screaming to let them find me so they can mount me in the forest and rut into me like the beasts they are, I know they’ll enjoy tracking me, catching me, and claiming me even more.

My feet are swift, and my mind clears slightly as I move, the fight or flight response to being told to run starting to ebb even though the excitement of the situation only ramps up.

Am I really doing this? And enjoying it?

I would have never guessed that this would be something that would turn me on, but I know I’m safe with my men. Even if they are hunting me. There is part of me that wants them to catch me and another that is considering fighting when they do. I’m not sure I could take them down, even with the training I’ve done, but it might be worth a try.

I’ve never done survival training and am a little bit at a loss as to how to proceed, but I don’t let that stop me. As I listen to the world around me, the underlying silence stretches. There’s no water nearby. I’m not catching any footsteps.

It’s almost like I’m all alone out here even though I know it’s not true. My eyes keep moving to the watch on my wrist. I’mtempted to look and see how long I’ve been running and moving through the trees, but would the light alert them to where I am?

As I move on the balls of my feet past a thick truck, I absently wonder if it’s the same tree I passed before. It wouldn’t be a surprise to find out that I’m moving in circles; it’s not like I have landmarks around here, at least not ones easy to find. When I take a step beyond the trunk, a twig snaps under my foot just as large hands clamp down on my shoulders.

Instinct kicks in and I drop down while sweeping my leg back around. I can feel the vibration more than I can hear the oomph of whoever has hit the ground. I don’t even spare the person a glance, knowing it’s one of my men, as I take off in the opposite direction.

As I move, it looks like the trees open up a little in front of me and panic floods me. Just as I’m about to shift my path, a hulking form steps in front of me, yanks me off my feet, and throws me over their shoulder. I grunt as my belly comes in contact with his hard muscle.

While my mind scrambles and I try to come up with some sort of plan, a smack rings out and a stinging sensation on my ass has me freezing and then going limp. “Good girl,” Dominic rumbles.

I should have known it was him who would find me. He’s the quietest of the bunch; it’s kind of surprising considering his size. More than likely he didn’t make a single sound as he stalked me through the forest.

“No fair,” I gasp the words as I try to catch my breath and calm my racing heart, “there are three of you.”

“All the better to hunt you with, our Phoenix,” there’s a feral edge to his voice. He turns his head slightly and lets out a whistle to let his brothers know that I’ve been found. “Fuck,” he gritsout, “my cock is begging to be buried inside of you.” His hand runs over my ass, a promise in his touch. “I’m taking your ass tonight.

My entire body shudders as I go limp, not seeing a reason to fight what is about to happen. Why would I? I want it to happen. Hell, at this point, I’m pretty sure that I’ll come with a tweak of the diamond peaks of my nipples. They’re so hard that they’re aching at this point.

Just as we breach the tree line and step into the clearing, Dominic shifts his hold on me until I’m cradled against his chest. The warmth coming off him along with his heaving chest has me snuggling up against him. His low chuckle is one I feel more than hear.

As Dominic strides toward where the SUV is still parked, Wolfe and Hendrix step into the clearing, coming from opposite directions. The feral grin Wolfe shoots me has me squeezing my legs together. Given the direction he’s coming from, he’s the man I put on his back. Is he going to punish me for taking him down?

I can’t wait to find out.

When we get to the middle of the clearing, I notice a blanket laid out on the ground and anticipation has me wiggling in Dominic’s arms. My legs wobbles lightly when I’m stood up in the middle of the blanket. I feel willing and wild as they stare at me.

I’m sure I look like a mess. I can feel my hair going in all directions and more than one branch snagged my clothes while I was running. The longer they stand there and look me over, the more my breathes come out in heavy pants. I want them.

“You put me on my ass,” Wolfe’s voice isn’t an accusation, it’s filled with pride. He chuckles softly, the sound skirting the edge of sinister. “It was amazing,” there’s a note of awe in his tone.
