I can feel her inside of me. She's exhausted, elated and a little worried. I don't know what the fuck is going on, but how can Silver be my soul mate?

Don's sighs, rubbing his finger along Silver's cheek as she smiles up at him. He's her soul mate too.

“Ugh, I really need a shower,” Silver mutters and as I pull away, Don grabs her and picks her up, tossing her over his shoulder.

“Round two! Fuck yes.”

He leaves the room, by unlocking the door and opening it with a simple spell.

I can hear Silver giggling down the hall and I smile. It's nice to have her back again.

Doing a simple shower spell, I clean off, then grab my basketball shorts from the floor.

I don't bother with a shirt. Checking that the coast is clear, I walk toward Well's room. I wish he was here for this, but I have a hunch.

Taking my seat, I grab the book from the floor and place it on the bed.

“Silver's back. Today is her birthday. Luke gave her a night of freedom. I think it's time to wake up, Wells. This might be the last time we see her.”

With that final word, I stand and leave his room, making sure to close the door.

When I reach Silver's room my phone is buzzing on the side table. I quickly walk over and answer it.

“Hey, so we can't get inside. There seems to be a shield around the place,”Myah says before I even say “hello”.

“I have a feeling it's the Devil's work. Silver is here for her birthday.”

“Oh, wow. Really. Don't say another word. Miles and I will stay with Clara.”

She ends the call and I have to laugh. Myah and Clara have become close lately. It's good. She needs some friends while here.

Leaving the room, I head for the bookshelf in the living room. I know we have a book on soul bonds. They are extremely rare though.

I can hear Silver and Don in the shower. My dick perks up, but I ignore it. They have always had a thing for bathrooms.

Finding an old leather tome, I grab it then settle on the couch. I have to stroke the spine a few times and mutter a preservation spell.

It's so old, I can't risk damaging the pages.

Cracking it open, the room fills with the scent of old books and I breathe it in.

It's written in Latin. This is going to take a little while. I may have to do this tomorrow instead.

I don't want to waste our time with Silver. My spine tingles and I take a deep breath, accepting the vision.

Silver walksdown the hall alone. It's dark and quiet. She stops at Wellson's door, and takes a deep breath.

Checking the coast is clear, she opens it and walks inside.

“I knew something was wrong. Why wouldn't they just tell me?”

Moving toward the bed, she sits on the edge of the mattress.

“What happened, Wells? Have you been like this the whole time?”

Placing her hand on his cheeks, she moves some of his dark hair. He needs a haircut, but we haven't bothered.

“I love you, Wellson Birch,” she whispers, then leans over and presses a kiss to his lips.
