Page 2 of Playing With Piper

Blade

My heart beats steadily in my chest as I watch her. Her raven hair billows in the wind as she rushes toward her car. She’s late for work like usual, and I can see the scowl on her face as she curses the rainfall. I wait and watch as Piper drives off, smirking to myself as I look towards her front door.

Glancing around the empty street, I slip out of my own car and waltz up to her front door. Satisfaction settles deep within my body as I twist the handle, causing the door to open with a soft click the same way it always does. I shake my head in disapproval at her stupidity, but I indulge in her forgetfulness, nonetheless. I’m not sure why I’m still surprised when I find it unlocked. It’s another simple thing that Piper seems to forget every single time.

Part of me wants to feel some form of guilt over this, but I don’t. I should feel ashamed for intruding on her personal space like this, but Piper is mine. My everything. At least, shewas. Piper is my entire world, and at one point, I was hers. So now, I feel nothing but normal as I step into her house without her knowing. It’s not the first time, and after tonight, it sure as hell won’t be the last.

My heavy boots are leaving muddy footprints on her pristine hardwood floors that I know she worked hard to clean earlier this week, but I can’t bring myself to linger on it. Not when her entire life is splayed out for me inside this house.

How am I supposed to dwell on anything when all I can focus on is her scent wafting throughout the entirety of this house, making my dick so hard I can’t even function? I sigh as I adjust myself and continue to roam her house the same way I’ve done a hundred times before. The floor plan of her entire home is burned into my memory. I know where everything resides in this house. From Piper’s favorite mug in the far-left cabinet, down to the last precarious wire hanging out of the loose wall socket in her living room– I know everything there is to know about her.

Call me crazy or obsessive, but Piper is fucking addictive. I need her the same way I need to fucking breathe. There’s something aboutherthat fills my lungs the way oxygen can’t. It’s impossible to feel alonewhen Piper is waltzing beside me. I just need her to learn the dance again.

The hallway leading to Piper’s room is short, but despite that, she’s managed to hang every framed picture that means something to her on the walls. It’s a gallery of her most precious moments in life in near chronological order. I stop when I reach the last one and pull it off the hook. Piper’s teeth are bared in the most breathtaking smile, and I feel the corners of my mouth twitch upward. She’s at the state park, I presume, but any beauty that could’ve been in the summer wildflowers is lost in comparison to Piper. She’s fucking stunning. The red sundress she’s wearing hugs her skin just right, and I feel something inside me stir. Blood rushes to my cock.

I stare at the picture for a second longer before continuing to her bedroom, still holding the frame tightly in my grasp. The door is slightly ajar, a sliver of light casting onto the hallway floor. My gaze lands on her made bed. A groan erupts from my throat as I take a deep breath. My cock twitches in my jeans mercilessly, and I let out a huff as I tug my zipper down and pull my throbbing length out. I hiss as I slowly smear the precum leaking from my tip down my shaft, giving myself a few pumps.

“Fuck,” I mutter at the friction. With a slow hand, I tease my cock while staring at the photo. I imagine Piper sitting in front of me, doing it for me, teasing me with her soft hands. It’s easy enough whenI’m surrounded by her. Her presence is damn near suffocating as I clutch her bedding into my free hand. I guess that should be expected when I’m sitting inherbedroom, inherhouse, while I rub one out to the thought ofher.

I close my eyes as I conjure an image of her in my mind, sitting pretty directly at my feet. I imagine it’s her hand stroking the head of my cock, urging me to come for her with a pout on those pretty lips. It should be her hands wrapped around me.Soon, I remind myself. I pant as I stroke myself faster, tighter.

My jaw clenches as my cum leaks out of my flushed tip a few pumps later. I let out a strangled moan as I finished, though I’m not sure why I silence myself. There’s nobody around, and Piper lives on a quiet street. Nobody knows I’m here. Notyet, at least.

Chapter Two

Piper

“Have a nice night,” I offer a warm smile to the last two customers leaving the shop. I lock the door behind them and sigh in relief. The cafe is empty now, aside from me and my coworker, Sadie.

“I’ll do the closing tonight if you do the cleaning,” Sadie offers as she pulls the till from the register. I nod in agreement with a wide grin on my face.

“This is why you’re my favorite. I’d rather do the cleaning anyway,” I tell Sadie, causing her to let out a loud laugh before replying.

“Only because the money counter hates you, Piper,” Sadie teases. I roll my eyes but nod anyway. She’s not lying. I have problems with that god-awful machine every night. I have enough issuesas it is, so I avoid that thing as much as I can manage. Without speaking, Sadie carries the till to the back office, closing the door behind her. I grab a clean rag from the shelf, wet it, and begin wiping down all the tables.

As I’m cleaning, the store phone rings loudly causing me to jump. I roll my eyes as the tone continues for a few more seconds. I stare at the phone until it stops. “We’re closed, people,” I mumble under my breath as I continue scrubbing the grime off the tables.

Twenty minutes later, the shop is clean, and Sadie is exiting the office with her keys in hand. Silently, Sadie adjusts her bag on her shoulder and extends her hand out to give me mine. I smile in appreciation as I take it from her. Sadie waits as I finish locking up then we both leave.

“See you tomorrow. Drive safe, and don’t do anything I wouldn’t do!” Sadie calls out as she crosses the parking lot to get to her car.

“Sadie, isthere anything you wouldn’t do?” I yell across the lot, teasing her. Sadie might just be the craziest person I know, and I don’t think I’ve ever heard her say no to anything.

“I’ll let you know if I find out!” She yells back before stepping into her car. I shake my head and laugh quietly to myself as I dig around in my purse for my car keys.

I curse myself as I continue rummaging through, yanking my keys out in triumph just as my phone starts blaring. I yelp, drop the keys, and groan loudly. I yankmy phone out and accept the call without checking the Caller ID.

“Hello?” I answer as I bend down to pick up my key ring.

“You look so pretty bent over like that, Piper,” the caller responds, smoothly. My ears perk up, and I quickly pull the phone away from my ear to check who exactly I’m talking to.Unknown.Figures. I stand up straight and place my phone back to my ear.

“Who is this?” My voice is tense as I ask the question. The parking lot is lit well enough for me to see if anybody else is around, but it’s empty. Not a single car, or person, is in sight.

I shove my key into the lock as I try not to panic. Goosebumps are rising on my skin while the wind whips against my face. I pull the door open and slip into the safety of my car. I’m quick to lock the doors behind me, so I let out a sigh of relief.

“Now, where’s the fun in that?” The person on the other line teases. I grimace at his words. It feels like his playfulness is hiding something much more sinister, and yet, I’m still intrigued.

Why can’t I just hang up the phone?
