He levels our gazes.

“You got me, sweetheart. All of me.” He drives into me hard. “Now give me what I want, give over to me.”

He thrusts harder and harder, grinding into me until my mind is nothing more than a swirling hurricane ready to lift out of the water.

My breath is caught, he squeezes my throat enough that I can’t get enough air. But he’s touching me, his fucking me, and kissing me, all the while his cock slides in and out of me.

Close. So fucking close. Little air gets through. My body tightens.

“That’s it, that’s my girl,” he coos in my ear. “Come for me, sweetheart, show me what a good, obedient girl you can be.”

Darkness edges into my vision just as my body ratchets to a point that I’m going to explode. His mouth crashes over mine, he releases my throat, and the hardest orgasm I’ve ever had blows through me.

He catches my scream of ecstasy in his mouth, still driving into me, over and over.

“Fuck,” I whimper when the waves fade enough that my brain comes back online.

He holds me steady, thrusting, kissing my neck, plowing harder, and harder until he stills.

“Fuck me. Fuck, oh fuck me.” He groans as his own release courses through him.

We slide onto the couch completely entangled in each other’s arms. His cock slips from me, leaving a mess on my thighs, but I’m too content, too worn from the avalanche of emotions I’ve had this morning, to do anything other than snuggle into my enemy’s arms.

“I’m losing my mind,” I whisper.

“Hmm?” He kisses me behind my ear. “Why do you say that?”

“I wanted you dead two days ago, and now I’m cuddling on this couch with you like we’re lovers.” I sigh. “I’m losing my mind.”

“Don’t worry. I’m sure over the course of our lives, you’ll want me dead lots of times.” He brushes a strand of hair from my face.

“You say that like we’re a couple.”

“In my world decisions are important. And once you make them, you need to stick by them. And I decided I want you.”

“It doesn’t work that way, Anton.” I try to wiggle from his arms, but he holds me steady.

“It does for me,” he says.

I sigh. Defeated.

“And it doesn’t matter to you that I don’t want it, that I want a man who will love me more than anything in the world?”

He pushes up to his elbow, rolling me to my back. His dark eyes search mine, but he remains silent.

I shrink a little beneath his stare.

“You should get upstairs and get cleaned up.”

“Why bother?” I push him away as I get up to my elbows. If he’s just going to keep me prisoner here, why bother getting dressed for the day?

“Because you have work, and I have a meeting. But tonight, we’ll figure out what our next step is.”

“Work?” My ears perk.

“Yeah.” He sighs. “Go to work, but when you’re home, when you’re here, you’re all mine, understood?”

I’m not going to look a gift horse in the mouth.
