I chuckle to myself as I shake my head and put my phone down on the counter inside the tasting room. It’s way before opening time but I thought I’d come and do some restocking of shelves and check my emails before I head out with Autumn.

“What are you looking so smug about?” I hear Beau’s voice behind me and whirl around.

“Hey!” I waste no time in leaping into my twin’s big frame to hug him. I haven’t seen him since he got back from his honeymoon on the weekend.

He hugs me tightly before setting me back on my feet. “I see things didn’t fall down around here without my presence.”

“Strangely, no, they didn’t.” I chuckle. “You look all tanned and happy.”

I’m so glad he and Autumn found each other. She’s so sweet and lovely, and they go together so well. Plus, I get a new sister.

“Man, we had the best time.” He beams. “They say change is as good as a vacation, but that’s bullshit. A vacation is everything.”

“I haven’t had one in so long I don’t even remember. I’m so happy for you both, though.”

He smiles. He really does look the happiest I’ve ever seen him.“Aut said you’re going to a wedding next month in Florida? You’re gonna pick dresses out in Nashville or something?”

Ah, yes.That. My old friend from school, Elizabeth. I haven’t seen her in years, but I got an invite to her wedding. Her husband-to-be is also a Stoney Creek native, and I can’t wait to go.

I’ve never been to Florida before.

“Yeah, that’s right. Are you suggesting I turn it into a mini vacay?”

“Why not?”

“By myself?”

“Okay, I see your point. But being on your own has never stopped you doing anything before. You should take a few extra days off at least. This season has been crazy.”

I smile. That’s sweet of Beau. He’s older by thirty minutes, but apparently that makes all the difference when it comes to twinning. Regardless, we’ve always been close and helped each other out.
