Sebastian shrugs, smirking. "Figured you'd need someone to congratulate you on handling the Kyla situation so perfectly."
Derek adds with a chuckle, “Besides, the class was boring as hell, anyway.”
I can't help but grin as I join them on the bed, wiggling myself between them. “I’m happy with how things unfolded today,” I admit, letting out a long breath. "Kyla lashing out like that is going to bite her hard. The whole school’s buzzing with questions about whether she actually wrote that grimoire. Those seeds of doubt? They’re spreading fast.”
"Better than we could have hoped for," Sebastian says, his eyes gleaming with satisfaction.
I lean back into the pillows, enjoying the warm presence of both boys beside me. “What phase that was…accomplished,” I say dramatically, waving my hand in mock triumph.
Derek snorts, wrapping an arm around me. "What’s next?"
"World domination." Without even looking at either of them, I casually remark, “Well, you both are my world, so... who wants to get dominated first?”
Silence.
I glance at them and nearly burst out laughing. The two of them are frozen, staring at me like I just suggested something they’ve never even considered. I look between them, trying to hold back my giggles. “What’s the matter? You two look like stunned deer staring at headlights.”
Derek clears his throat awkwardly, scratching the back of his head. "Uh..."
Sebastian recovers faster, his usual smirk creeping back. “Just... wasn’t expecting that,” he admits, though there’s a playful glint in his eye.
I grin and elbow Sebastian lightly. "Good to know I can still surprise you."
Sebastian chuckles, his smirk widening. "Oh, trust me, you do."
Derek, still looking somewhat amused by the whole exchange, leans in and gives me a quick kiss on the temple. "You always keep us on our toes, Z."
I stretch my arms above my head, the tension of the day rolling off me. "Well, speaking of surprises, I think I’m going to hop in the shower. It’s been a long day, and I could use a little steam." I shoot them a mischievous look as I rise from the bed, pausing at the bathroom door. "Anyone care to join me?"
Both of them freeze again, glancing at each other as if they’re processing what I just said.
I laugh softly. "Don’t think too hard about it. I’m serious." I wink before slipping into the bathroom, leaving the door slightly ajar.
For a moment, the only sound is the rush of water as I turn on the shower, but soon enough, I hear the unmistakable sound of footsteps behind me. Glancing over my shoulder, I see both Derek and Sebastian standing there, grinning like they’ve just been given the keys to the kingdom.
"You weren't joking," Derek says, stepping closer.
I tilt my head playfully. "Do I ever joke about things like this?"
Sebastian chuckles, shrugging out of his shirt. "Well, this is an invitation I definitely can’t turn down."
Derek follows suit, quickly pulling off his own clothes, and before I know it, both of them are in the small bathroom with me, steam rising from the shower and the heat between us building in ways I didn’t expect. My heart races as I step into the shower, the warm water cascading over me, and moments later, Derek and Sebastian join me, pressing in close, their bodies hot against mine.
It’s overwhelming—in the best way. Derek’s hands slide gently along my waist, while Sebastian’s fingers trace down my arm, leaving trails of warmth in their wake. The small space only amplifies the intimacy, and I can feel their closeness in every inch of my skin.
My breath hitches as I feel their hands explore, not in a rush, but with deliberate care, like they’re savoring the moment. Derek presses a kiss to my neck, his lips soft against the curve of my shoulder, while Sebastian’s hands move lower, brushing along my thighs.
I close my eyes, completely flustered and unable to focus on anything but their touches. The feel of their bodies against mine, the warmth of the water mingling with the heat from them—it’s intoxicating.
"Z," Derek murmurs against my ear, his breath hot against my wet skin. "We just want you to feel good. Let us take care of you."
My heart skips a beat, the tenderness in his voice making my chest tighten with something that feels an awful lot like love. And then Sebastian’s lips are on my neck, and I’m not sure how much more of this I can handle. My fingers instinctively reach for his hair, pulling him closer as Derek’s hands slide down my back, his touch firm and steady.
I bite my lip, utterly lost in the sensation of being between them—my boys, my mates. It’s surreal, but at the same time, it feels like this is exactly where I’m supposed to be.
"You're both trouble, you know that?" I manage to say, my voice a little breathless.
Sebastian’s laugh is a low rumble against my skin. "Good trouble, though, right?"
