She shrugs, looking more serious. “It sucked, but honestly, it’s not that much worse than what women deal with on a daily basis. Every one of my friends has a similar story.”
“I hate men,” Granger says with a passion.
“They suck,” I mutter, and my jaw pops from how hard I’m clenching it.
“What was his name?” Evander asks. There’s a calmness to his voice that’s deceiving.
“Guys, I handled it!” she says, like this thing is actually over.
Clearly, she doesn’t know the depths to which we would go for her. She can’t begin to picture just what we’ll do to track this man down and break him bone by bone until there’s nothing left.
“What’s his name?” I repeat.
She sighs. “Craig Ransy, but it’s not like you’re going to be able to do anything with just his name. Seriously, just let it go.”
Evander leans over to me and whispers, “You’d be surprised what you can accomplish with limitless money.” And it’s the first time I kind of like him.
Even though the feeling is fleeting.
Then she smiles. “So, have you guys ever gotten your junk caught in a zipper?”
The three of us are instantly grabbing our crotches.Yes, yes I have, and it’s not something I want to talk about or relive.Even my dick gives an inaudible little weeping sound, remembering what that felt like.
“New topic!” Granger shouts.
She laughs. “I saw this video where women were putting hot dogs in their partners’ pants and waking them up. And when the men were just becoming aware of what was going on, they used scissors to cut the hot dogs. All the men were screaming and freaking out, thinking that was their dick.”
I grab ahold of her and toss her back on the bed. “Don’t ever think about it!”
She squeals with laughter. “But your face,” she gasps. “It would be hysterical!”
I lean down and bite her neck gently. “No.”
“Get off of her,” Evander says behind me.
Looking back at him, I smirk. “Not going to happen.”
Sam pushes at me a little, but I know she wants me on top of her. She just doesn’t want to piss off the asshole.
“Maybe it’s time for Granger and Evander to head out,” I suggest, oh-so-helpfully.
Granger stands, but Evander gives me a look that promises pain. “I’m not going anywhere.”
Sam pushes at me again. “Get off. You’re just pissing him off.”
I look back at her and kiss her again. “Actually, my planisto get off with you tonight.”
Suddenly, someone grabs my shirt and yanks me off of her. I round on Evander. His hands are balled into fists. His expression is pissed.
I smile. “You and I are both dragons now. There’s not a sucker punch that can save you.”
“Let’s do this,” he says, lifting his arms.
Sam is suddenly between us. “Get out.”
I groan. “You don’t actually want me to go. You just don’t want me fighting with this asshole.”
“No,” she says, through gritted teeth. “I want you out. I’m over this. You two need to find a way to get along, or I’m going to start keeping my distance from you.”
