I refocus on Bobby, ordering, "Put Trance in Avery's drink so she can enjoy herself tonight."
He jerks his head backward.
Avery's eyes widen.
The room goes silent.
Dax arches his eyebrows.
I ask, "Bobby, is there a problem?"
He feigns confusion. "What are you talking about, Ivy?"
I scoff. "Let's stop playing games, Bobby. Give it to Avery, and she'll enjoy it when you take her up the ass."
"I'm not taking that drug," Avery states.
I put my fingers over her cheeks. "No? You won't do it for me, even if you get..." I pause, dragging my eyes down her body and then meet her eye, looking at her like she used to look at me, continuing, "Even if you get everything you want tonight?"
She says nothing, her chest rising and falling faster.
I step closer, murmuring in her ear, "Isn't that what you want, Avery? Something you've never had?Me?"
She swallows hard.
Hurt fills Dax's voice. He seethes, "She's already had you."
I snap my gaze at him, protesting, "No, she hasn't!"
Avery smirks at him.
"She hasn't," I repeat.
Dax bellows, "What's the truth, Avery? It's time to stop playing games. Ivy says you didn't sleep with her that day. Fess up."
"I didn't," I insist, maintaining my innocence, glaring at her.
Avery opens her mouth.
"Don't lie," I warn.
She shuts her mouth.
Dax snarls, "Tell the truth, Avery."
She blows out a breath of air. "Fine. We've never slept together."
"You bitch!" Dax shouts, pain mixing with relief and anger so fiercely in his expression it makes me almost run over to him and tug him into my arms.
Almost.
Stay in control.
I step closer, run my fingers down her arm, and question, "But I know you want to fuck me. Don't you?"
Goose bumps break out on her skin.
"If you want me, you have to admit it," I declare.
