Oops. I let the tension riding my body drop and he sinks in a little more, pulling a moan from my lips.

“You’re doing so good,” he murmurs.

Then he sinks in the rest of the way, freezing when I tense.

“Keep going. Don’t stop, Kaos.”

He doesn’t need any further encouragement. He pulls back slightly before slowly burying himself inside me once more, letting my body adapt to his length. He teases me like that over and over until I start rocking my hips against his and he picks up the pace.

“Holy shit, Sadie,” he murmurs and sinks all the way in then grinds against my clit.

“Oh my Gods,” I say throatily. “Harder, Kaos, please.”

“I’ll take care of you. Don’t worry.”

And he does. Kaos delivers exactly what my body needs, picking up on all my cues like the attentive man he is and I fucking relish in it. He reaches down, flicking my little bundle of nerves until I’m crying out.

“Fuck, Kaos!”

Incoherent words flow from my mouth as my cunt clamps down on his cock, and with another few strokes, he’s finishing inside me with a grunt.

“Moons above, my Little Flame, you are something else, you know that?” he says, leaning his forehead against my breasts with his dick still buried inside of me.

“Really? Do you say that to all the girls you fuck?” I snark.

“No. Never,” he responds, making my stomach flip flop.

While he’s stroking the silky skin of my belly, I ask, “Hey, Kaos? Why do you call me Little Flame?”

He smiles. “I’ve seen a fire in you since the day we met, and I think it’s fitting. Don’t you?” Well, he’s got me there. My eyelids start to droop and I yawn, startling when a voice speaks up from the floor.

“For the love of the Night Goddess, could you fucking warn a dog next time? I think I’m scarred for life.”

No fucking way.

Little peals of laughter burst from my lips as Kaos and I simultaneously lose our shit.

“Yeah, yeah, laugh it up you assholes. I saw way more of both of you than I ever bargained for tonight.”

When my laughter finally dies down I say, “I’m so sorry, pup. I didn’t know you were in here, though you could have spoken up at any time.”

He pouts, jumping onto the bed to curl at our feet. “You seemed like you needed to get laid, human. You’re a little wound up.”

“Hey, you little shit, you’re supposed to be on my side.”

He makes a chuffing sound and then promptly falls fast asleep. Who would’ve thought being a pet owner would be so fun?

Kaos chuckles, planting a kiss against my forehead. “Get some sleep, Sadie. I’ve got you.” He places his palm above my abdomen, which lights in a blackish glow before the discomfort in my lower region disappears completely. Hell yeah, that’s handy. Then he tucks me under the covers and into his arms.

Well and thoroughly satisfied, sleep overtakes me once again. This time the nightmares stay away, and I can enjoy the blissful peace. When I wake, it’s to a commotion in the hallway. I glance over to the other side of the room to find Kaos dressing in a different outfit than yesterday and on alert. We share a look and I grab my switchblade off the side table. Never know when I’ll need it at this rate.

Dante barges into my room, panting, “He’s awake… and he’s asking for you.”

Sadie

Rushing through the motions to get ready, I tell Dante and Kaos to give me a sec and change into a fresh pair of well-worn jeans and a deep red low-cut shirt I found hanging in the closet. Not sure I want to know where it came from, but I’m short on items to wear and I’m not one to look a gift horse in the mouth.
