He smirks, standing up. “And you love it.”
I can’t believe this. I’m so wound up I could scream, but X just stands there looking smug. “You’re seriously going to leave me like this?” I ask, my voice a mix of disbelief and desperation.
X’s eyes glint with mischief. “Oh, I’m not done yet.” Before I can process what’s happening, he’s producing a small, glittering object from his desk drawer. “Turn around.”
I comply, curiosity overriding my frustration. That’s when I feel the cool touch of lube and – oh. Oh no.
“Really?” I yelp as he eases the butt plug into place. “Isn’t this a bit much?”
“You need time to think about your actions,” X says, his voice a low rumble that sends shivers down my spine. He taps something on his phone. “One hour. That should do it.”
I turn back to face him, wobbling slightly in my heels. “And what am I supposed to do for an hour?”
He gestures to a standing desk in the corner of his office. “Reflect.”
As I make my way to the desk, I can’t help but sass back. “You know, most bosses just give a verbal warning.”
“Most employees don’t show up practically naked,” he retorts.
I lean on the desk, trying to look casual despite the toys inside me. “So, what? I’m supposed to just stand here and work?”
X nods, a small smile playing at the corners of his mouth. “Exactly. Maybe next time you’ll think twice about how you come to work.”
As he turns to leave, an idea strikes me. If he wants to play hardball, I can too. With deliberate slowness, I reach for the zipper of my dress.
In one motion, I shimmy out of my dress, letting it pool at my feet.
X freezes, his eyes widening as he takes in my naked form. “Zana, what are you-“
“Just following your instructions,” I say innocently, turning to the computer. “You said to reflect on my actions. Well, I’m reflecting on how overdressed I was.”
A low growl escapes X’s throat, and for a moment I think I’ve won. Then I hear a small click, and suddenly the toy inside me springs to life, vibrating intensely.
I gasp, gripping the edge of the desk. “That’s cheating,” I manage to say between shaky breaths.
X’s voice is low and dangerous. “All’s fair in love and war, sweetheart. I’m going to go get a coffee. Enjoy your reflection time.”
He walks out, leaving me naked, plugged, and vibrating, I can’t help but wonder if I’ve bitten off more than I can chew. But damn if I’m going to let him win.
I grit my teeth, trying to focus on the screen in front of me. The numbers and charts blur together as waves of pleasure radiate through my body. God, why did I have to be so stubborn?
“Having trouble concentrating?” X’s deep voice startles me. I hadn’t even heard him come back in.
I force a smile, though it probably looks more like a grimace. “Not at all. Just crunching some numbers. You know, like a good little data scientist.”
He leans against the desk, his green muscles rippling as he crosses his arms. “You’re punishing us both, you know. If you’d just admit you were wrong, this could all be over.”
I snort, trying to ignore the way my thighs are trembling. “Me? Wrong? Never heard of her.”
X sighs, his expression softening. “Zana, sweetheart, you’re killing me here. And from the looks of it, you’re not doing much better yourself.”
He’s right, of course. I’m achingly close to the edge, desperate for release. But my pride...
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” I lie, my voice breathy. “I could do this all day.”
X raises an eyebrow. “Really? So if I turned up the intensity...”
The vibrations increase, and I can’t hold back a moan. “Okay, okay! I give up. You win. Please, X, I need you.”
