“You are a bit of a prude,” Charles teased.
“Do you have naked pictures of Michael on your phone? Or videos?”
“Maybe,” Charles grinned.
“How many times have the paparazzi tried to hack my phone or outright stolen my phone?”
“You have a point. But you can delete things.”
“Aren’t you the one who told me it doesn’t matter if you delete things, most everything can be recovered?” Annabel shifted piles on her desk.
“Okay so no sexting. You seem restless.”
“Not really,” Annabel evaded.
“Yeah. So, we’re lying today. You promised me a hundred percent raise and a company car.”
Annabel laughed, “I want to play it cool and be in control but I just want to repeat what we did last night.”
Charles pulled out his tablet. He swiped, tapped, and grinned. “Look at that. Your afternoon is free. Whatever will you do?”
“Seriously, I know there are meetings,” Annabel hedged.
“I’ve not seen you this happy in years,” Charles stood up. “Now you have no meetings and I’ll make sure no one will walk in that door. You can sit here alone in your office getting boring work done or you can go do whatever you want.”
“You know you can have a car,” Annabel rose. She picked up her purse and her jacket. “I’ll give you a ten percent raise. If you bring me news on our spy, I’ll make it fifteen.”
“I’ve got a car but I’ll take the raise. You know in my mind I’ll call it my ‘Annabel had sex’ raise.”
“Call it what you want,” Annabel grinned. “Just don’t say it out loud.”
“Yes, ma’am,” Charles closed her door and watched her walk away from his desk.
The entire driveto their office building she argued with herself. She told herself she had work. She told herself they may not want her to barge into their office. Now she sat in their parking lot and stared at their building. It was simple and classic.
She stepped out of the car and walked into the building. She knew where their offices were and didn’t bother to stop on the first floor. She moved to the elevator like she owned the place. It worked for her in the past. No one stopped her or questioned her. She stepped onto the elevator and pushed the button. She thought about commanding them, watching them touch each other. She hoped they had condoms on them but if not, she’d get inventive. Or make them wait.
She walked into a foyer with no one at the main desk. She scanned the directory on the wall and figured out where their offices were.
Long strides carried her down the hall and to another empty desk. Where were their people? She saw the dual doors and knew they had a connecting door between their offices. The article showed pictures of the offices. She took a moment and stepped to the door of Andrew’s office. She knocked and when he called gruffly to come in, she opened the door and strode in.
“You make me wait in the foyer,” she scolded. His office was all him. Dark colors, metal, wood, and leather.
“Annabel,” his head jerked up from what he read. He rose and his erection pushed against his pants.
“Have you missed me,” she asked.
“Yes,” he stepped around his desk to move towards her.
She closed the door and noted the door open to Ryan’s office. “Will he hear us?”
“Yes,” he stopped when she pinned him with her eyes.
“Good,” Annabel tossed her purse on the table, and took off her jacket.
“May I take your jacket,” he asked.
“Hmmm I like when you ask,” she let him take the jacket and hang it on the coat rack in the corner.
