The minuteher fingers curled around the glass, I knew with absolute certainty that I would kill a man tonight if given an opportunity. It wasn’t that I couldn’t control it. It was just a deep, ingrained urge to walk over there and wrap my fingers around his throat, then squeeze until the tendons and muscles gave way under my grip and his breath seized to exist. It wasn’t that he gave Bella a drink, though that act alone left me strangely infuriated. It was the tiny bit of powder I saw him drop in moments before he reached her.
I was on my feet in a flash, ignoring Boyce’s urges to let her enjoy her night. If I left her to it, twenty minutes from now, there would be no enjoying her night at all. My feet carried me to her, like a magnetic pull, and at the exact moment the glass met her lips, I reached her. My fingers wrapped around the drink and yanked it free of her grasp before she could tip it back and consume it. I didn’t bother looking at the douche she took it from. I knew Silas was already on him, following him in the crowd.
Instead, I looked directly at Bella as I released my grasp, letting the glass fall to the floor and shatter, spraying alcohol and glass shards across the dance floor. “Truth or dare?”
“Vincent!” she hissed. “There is glass everywhere.”
“It was drugged,” I stated flatly, unwilling to fully process what would have happened if I weren’t here, if I weren’t always watching. “Truth or dare?”
She sucked in a breath. “I-I didn’t know.”
“Truth or dare, baby?” I was growing impatient. I needed some control.
“Dare,” she said breathlessly.
“Only pick dare if you’re willing to suffer,” I warned.
“I’m always willing to suffer.”
Before she changed her mind, my hand went to her hip. “Dance with me.”
She laughed at the dare, her violet eyes flickering with so many questions. Her eyes fell on her friend. The redhead shrugged before pointing to the bar and disappearing. She bit her lip. “Not much of a dare, but okay.”
I pulled her toward me, my body already moving with hers. It was automatic, muscle memory. My body knew hers and every movement it made before it happened, and we were in perfect sync. I leaned down as the music picked up, the beat louder, the base more upbeat. “The dare wasn’t to dance with me.”
I felt her body tense, but she never lost her rhythm. “No?”
“No.” I bit her neck gently. “The dare was not to come while doing it.”
Her scoff only lasted a single moment before Boyce appeared, plastering his chest to hers, dancing in the rhythm with me. I smirked against her skin, knowing she felt my lips curve into a smile.
“I think I could manage,” she boasted.
Doubtful.
“What makes you so confident?” I was baiting her. I knew. I didn’t want to admit it, but this right here wasn’t a first for me or Boyce, and when Silas came back, I knew he would be on board. After that show of dominance earlier, the way he licked her essence off his finger and the look of bliss on his face, who the fuck cared that it was Bella? She belonged to us. It was only a matter of time before we all finally admitted it.
“We’re just dancing. How arrogant do you have to be to think that dancing alone would make me come?” She blew out a breath, and I knew her heart was racing. When I ran my hand from her hips, slowly up her stomach, and over her chest to where her heart beat, my suspicions were only confirmed.
Boyce dropped to his knees in front of her as Silas snuck up behind us, whispering in her ear, “It’s not the dancing you should be worried about, Belladonna.”
Her body went rigid in my arms as realization dawned on her. She wiggled against me slightly. “You can’t do this, we’re in a club. We’re in public. We’re—”
“Completely invisible.” She suddenly looked around, realizing we had pulled her to the dark back corner, and between my body and Silas, there was no way anyone could see Boyce. Silas leaned in. “We shouldn’t do this, Bella. Every one of us knows. Tell us not to, and we’ll all walk away from you right now.”
He’d never made that offer before, but then again, the stakes had never been so high as Bella. Never smelled as sweet as Bella. Never felt as right as Bella.
She tilted her head stubbornly. “No.”
“No?” He seemed amused by the set of her jaw.
“No,” she replied breathlessly.
“Is that ano, I don’t want this? Or is that ano, I won’t tell you to walk away?” he asked, prompting her for an answer.
She ground her ass into my cock and a slight whimper left her lips, but she refused to answer Silas. His nostrils flared in front of her, and I knew for a fact that he smelled the sweet scent of her want that surrounded us like a cloud. Below her, I knew that right about now, Boyce’s lips would be licking and nipping a tiny trail from her kneecap up her thigh, and I also knew it was causing her body to quiver slightly against my own.
“Answer me, Belladonna.” Silas’ voice boomed, the alpha in him unmistakable, and based on the way her body quivered with his tone, I knew she didn’t miss that fact.
