“I am no longer five feet away.”

My heart did a thing where it dumbly sputtered out of control, and I felt tongue-tied. It took a good few beats before I managed to swallow and speak, “But I am fully clothed.”

“Do you need assistance?” Lenin asked from behind me before his body pressed against mine.Where did he even come from?

Lenin’s hand pushed my hair aside, his lips falling to my neck, and my mind, I swear, was short-circuiting. Was that a husk? Were the husks out to play? Fates, I loved him in his regular form.

No. No. No, I swerved my body to the side, barely avoiding their lips’ assault. I pointed my fingers at them. “You two are trying to distract me.”

“It’s working.” Justice smirked.

It was. It really, really was. “Not the point.”

He groaned before rolling his neck. “Fine. What did you need?”

“I want to throw a party. For Ellis’ birthday.”

A low vibration came from him. I shrugged. He would get used to sharing eventually. Justice’s head shook, “No. It’s too risky. I will not put our daughter at risk again.”

“It is a grand idea,” Lenin spoke over Justice.

Justice and Lenin made eye contact. “It will not help her to be doing all that work.”

“I will help her. She will not have to leave a single chair,” Lenin reasoned.

“I don’t want her to have the stress.” Justice tried again.

“I live with five males; I breathe stress,” I responded. “It will be fine.”

“How is it that I am the king among everyone in this house, but no one respects my opinion?” He sighed before putting his hands on his hips. “Fine. But I mean it, Lenin, she does nothing.”

I squealed before attempting to throw my arms around his neck. He laughed, a rare sound I fucking loved, before he scooped me up and walked the five feet to the bed, where he laid me down gently. He crawled on the bed after me, his thighs straddling mine before placing small kisses on my stomach.

“You know, it will cost you, our queen.” He bit my skin, and damn it; I told myself I would not get sidetracked but here I was, already writhing for them.

“Doesn’t everything come at a cost?” I giggled.

His face grew serious. “You’re right; it does.”

I didn’t like the expression lingering on his beautiful face. I didn’t like what memories haunted his thoughts and dragged him away from us. I reached for him, and he came willingly to me, his body leaning over mine to place a gentle kiss on my nose.

“You know, you’ve changed,” I pointed out.

“Hardly.” He brushed off my assessment.

I bopped his nose with a finger, knowing he hated it. “You’re slightly more likable.”

His chest rumbled. “I was already likable.”

“She is right.” Lenin backed me up, and I smirked cockily at Justice. Bless Lenin and his sweet soul for not knowing what he just started. “You were not so pleasant at first.”

The rumble in Justice's chest increased, his hand shot out to Lenin, grabbing him roughly by his chin and pulling him forward. “I can show you just how unpleasant I can be.”

Fates, please let him show us.

Justice’s fingers dug roughly into Lenin’s skin, turning the pale green skin around his touch white, before he brought their lips together, clashing them roughly, letting them battle for control. They weren’t even touching me, but the sight of them loving each other had my pulse pounding and my stomach tightening. I flexed my hip as I reached for Lenin’s hair, tugging it, reminding them both that I would not be neglected.

They broke apart, Justice’s tongue darting out to lick his lips before his teeth tugged the swollen flesh. “Did you want something, mate?”
