“What happens when we get back to London?” his voice trembles.
“I don’t know what you mean?”
“You must have a hundred guys to choose from. You might even have someone waiting for you at home. Do you?”
A flash of anger that he could think I would still lead him on if I had a partner zips through me, but it fizzles out just as fast. It’s a stark reminder that we don’t know each other at all.
“Hey.” I cup my hand round his cheek and tilt his face so I can look at him properly. “There is no one else. I would never do what we did if I had a partner. Sure, I get hit on, especially in my job.” Not that I would act on any propositions; it wouldn’t be professional and could cause problems if it all went wrong. Notto mention that they’re never what I’m looking for. His mouth forms a little O shape, and I continue.
“Let me tell you something. I’ve spent a long time looking for the right guy for me. Thenboom, you land in my lap. You’re cute and sexy and funny. When we get back to London, I’d like to see a lot more of you. If that’s what you want.”
“You don’t mind that I’m a freak?”
“Don’t say that! You’renota freak. I’ve been around the kink scene for a long time. There is no shame in whatever anyone is into.”
“You sure?” He must’ve met some real pricks if he’s still unsure of himself, but then I remember the texts Aiden sent, and I quash the feeling of wanting to smash his face in. I’m not sure I’ll show the same restraint if I ever see him in person, though. I sit back against the pillows and lift Jamie up to straddle me.
“Look at me, Jamie.” He lifts his eyes to mine.
“I like you a lot. I enjoyed what we did, and it was one of the most intense experiences of my life. I think we can have a lot of fun with it. Even the thought of you being wrapped, aroused, and ready for me is making me hard.” Well, that and the fact he’s naked and sitting across my dick.
“Thanks, Victor. I like you a lot, too.”
“So let’s see where it goes, eh?”
He throws his arms around my neck, his soft lips on mine. It’s a gentle kiss, without the frenzy of before, but with no less feeling.
He pulls away and smiles at me; it’s full of hope and I match it. He yawns and his eyes droop.
“You need to get some sleep.”
He nods and slips off my lap and onto the bed.
I curl round his body and wrap my arms around him.
“Good night, Captain,” he says, his voice sleepy, eyes closed.
“Sleep well, cutie,” I whisper, happier than I have been for a long time.
