“No . . . yes . . . a little.” She smiled, reaching for the coffee pot. “But this,” Sway pointed as she poured a cup of coffee, “will help.”
Vicious set down the spatula and wrapped her in his arms. His hands roamed over her arms, going to her hips. He watched Sway lift the cup to her mouth, then a soft moan escaped her as she enjoyed the warm, dark liquid that rushed over her tongue and down her throat. When she lifted her eyes to his, Vicious held her in his stare. “How’s the coffee, babe?”
“It’s okay.”
Pulling her tight to him, Sway laughed. “Okay, okay. Wow, woman, I think I make a great cup of coffee.”
“You do make a great cup of coffee. You’re great at a lot of things.”
“After breakfast, I’ll show you more of that greatness.” Letting her go, Vicious went back to cooking. He watched Sway take a seat at the kitchen table. He saw her glance at it, then a look of concern washed over her face, and he almost laughed. “If you’re wondering, I cleaned the table when I got up.”
“Oh, that was smart.”
“No, that was hygienic.” He liked being in her home. He liked sharing the morning with her. Plating up the food, he carried it to the table and sat down. He waited for her to take a few bites before inquiring how he had done.
“How’s your breakfast?”
Smiling at him, she told him it was good, even if the eggs were a little salty and the meat was slightly burnt. He had cooked her breakfast. There was no way she’d insult him. “It’s nice to have someone cook for me.”
“You had company about half an hour ago.” Vicious tossed the information out like an old newspaper. Looking at him like he had two heads, she waited for him to elaborate. “Lottie and her ol’ man came by.”
Setting her fork down, she sighed. “Did she say what she wanted?”
“She asked if we wanted to have breakfast with them. Since you weren’t awake, I asked for a rain check.”
“I won’t hear the end of this.”
“You? Player and Joker will have a field day with me staying here overnight.” He saw the look on her face and smirked. “They know I stayed here last night,” Vicious said, laughing.
Damn it, he was right. All his friends would know. The funny thing was, she could care less. “Did you meet Lottie’s boyfriend?”
“No. She said he was in the car.” Vicious lifted his coffee cup. “Who’s her boyfriend?”
“This guy named Dawson Franks.”
Vicious stared at Sway over his coffee cup. “Did you say Dawson Franks?”
“Yeah. She says he’s a decent guy. I think he’s dangerous and maybe a little bit sleazy. But, hey, it’s her life.”
Vicious hid his distaste for Dawson Franks. He wanted to ask a zillion questions but did not want to ruin their morning. “What are your plans for the day?” Sway asked between sips of coffee.
Vicious stared at her. “I told you, I’m gonna show you how great I am,” he said without emotion, making sure she knew he wasn’t going anywhere. “Eat your food, you’ll need your energy.”
Sway didn’t know whether to be nervous or excited about the thought of Vicious showing her more of his sexual prowess.
When she finished eating, she set her plate aside. Running a foot along Vicious’s thigh, she sighed absentmindedly. The next thing she knew, he was dragging her chair to him. His hands ran up her bare legs, disappearing under her robe, and Sway’s mind went foggy. Dropping her head back, she swallowed hard as his lips caressed her neck and collarbone. His hands worked the belt on the robe, trying to find his way to her skin.
“I love the way you feel in my hands.” He moaned against her throat.
“Mmmmhmmm” was all she managed.
Her hands reached for his shoulders, trying to hold on as his mouth travelled down her body. When he stoppedkissing her, Sway looked down into his eyes. His stare was so intense, it made her shiver.
“You’re mine, Sway. Mine,” he told her.
“As long as you’re mine.”
Clothes were pulled from their bodies, wanting nothing between them, just skin on skin. Vicious shoved her knees back, opening her milky thighs for him to devour. Teeth scraped her thighs, wrenching a moan from her lips as his tongue lapped at her sex, making her squirm. “Vicious, please.”
