“It’s our pleasure,” Gambit says, before offering his hand. “I’m Gambit, President of the Voodoo Kings out of New Orleans. This is my vice president, Papa. Road Captain, Decker. Our brothers Wrath, Saber, Blue, Doc, Angel, and Demon.

“I’m Thunder, President of the Red Sky Riders, North Carolina Chapter. This is my VP Hawk and our Enforcer Bull. What brings you to our neck of the woods, vacation?”

“A wedding. Wrath here tied the knot a couple days ago. The women are out shopping.”

“Why don’t you join us in our private dining room? We arrived only a few minutes ago.”

“Thanks for the offer,” Gambit says.

We stand, put the tables back the way they were, and follow the Riders into their private dining room. I order a Coke. I’ll enjoy cocktails with my woman later. I even rented a limo so I could enjoy it without worrying about driving. I peruse the menu, delighted to see they have several dishes with jalapeños.

The table orders armadillo eggs, Texas toothpicks, and stuffed popper dip along with a few other things. I’m going to have to double my workouts for a month to make up for this honeymoon, but it’ll be well worth it.

Over the next hour, we shoot the breeze with the Riders and meet several more. The club took on animal names as their handles. Each picked an animal they believed they had some trait in common with. A totem animal.

By the end of lunch, we invite them to the next rally, and they invite us to wear our colors the rest of our visit. Sevierville, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge doesn't currently have clubs of their own.

Another hour and we’re back in Pigeon Forge, headed toward the cabins. Another twenty on top of that. We’re all on motocross bikes headed to the nearby track.

Chapter 23

Millie

Nay and Stormy drag me down the aisles of the adult toy store.

“We’ll need to get you the right lube. I’m betting Wrath has some, but you can never have enough. Also, a dilation set so he can stretch you. He should have started that on your wedding night.

“None of the Kings are small and that boy better not hurt you. He’ll have me to answer to. I’ll have to see if Papa brought any of his special bath powders.”

As we go down the shelves, she pulls several things and hands them to me. Willow comes to the rescue, handing me a basket. After the toy section, Nay drags me to the lingerie section.

I can’t believe we spend an hour in an adult toy store before we move on. After a quick Starbucks stop, we hit the stores. I admit to getting all caught up in my feelings when we hit the baby stores. I also realize Wrath and I haven’t talked about kids.Yikes!What if he doesn’t want kids? That would kill me. I’ve always wanted a family. A big family. Like six kids. Too bad multiples don’t run in my family.

Willow slides up next to me in the Disney outlet store.

“So, when are you going to make me an auntie?”

I laugh. “I was just thinking Wrath and I haven’t had that conversation yet.”

She smiles and hugs me. “He wants kids. We all do.”

I felt some tension leave my shoulders. “Me too. I’ll bring it up though. I just realized how much we have to talk about.”

“Whirlwind romances will do that,” Stormy says with a laugh as she joins us.

“Is there any other kind with the Kings?” Nola says.

We all laugh. Nay told me stories about the King’s and how they claim their ol’ ladies. I didn’t believe it. Not that I thought she was lying. I thought stuff like that only happened in books, movies, or TV.

There’s no way love happens that fast. At least that’s what I thought. Now I’m singing a different tune. I believe that love can happen any time or anywhere.

After a couple hours of shopping, we stopped for a snack. Then my bff posse helped me find a dress for tonight. I’m super excited about dinner tonight. First, we’re going for a ride on the Ferris wheel.
