“Now this is what I’m talking about,” Ian moaned as he got back to his feet, blood dribbling down his face. “This fight is making my cock ache. Valka, your cunt better be ready for a pounding after this.”

What the hell was wrong with this guy? Why did it turn me on so much?

Landon appeared in front of him, swinging his fist, but just as fast Ian disappeared. Landon roared in fury before following suit.

As hot as two dominants fighting gets me, this was giving me a damn headache.

Ian’s laugh only added to my irritation. “I see why she was drawn to you. Too bad all she’ll have left of her little toy is a corpse. If you’re lucky, maybe she’ll fuck you anyway.”

This cocky asshole…

“Shut your trap, Ian, and hurry the fuck up! I wanna go home.”

Ian throws another blade but misses. Landon reappears and pounces on nothing.

“You fucking hear that? She misses me. You’re taking up my time. Her cunt is calling for me.”

“After you die, I will take down the rest of Letos and leave them in ruins the way they left me.”

What the hell? This guy has it out for everyone.

I kinda like him.

“Valka, if I find out you’re thinking about him, you’re going to pay.”

I gasped.

Ian reappeared on top of Landon, who only became visible a moment before. His arm wrapped around his neck as he pulled another blade from his boot. Landon threw Ian over his shoulder, but Ian planted his feet on the tree’s trunk, twisted and leapt back in his direction, throwing the blade right into Landon’s eye.

There must be something about men missing their eyes around me.

I called out his name, but he ignored me. Ian landed on the ground in a crouch, rolling his head as he straightened on his feet.

“Valka, stop picking up strays would you. There’s just something funny about this one. Something feral.”

“His mother was Corrus.”

Landon pulls the knife out of his eye and the soft tissue pops, oozing down his cheek. Well, that’s disgusting.

“Shit, I need to be careful. Valka’s got a thing for one eyed vampires.”

“Fucking asshole!”

“I’ll be right there, honey. Just hang tight.”

Dear. Fucking. Letos. This asshole was getting under my skin, and even I wanted to kill him.

“Go ahead Landon. Kill this sorry ass and take me home. I’m tired of his mouth.” I crossed my arms and leaned against a tree, waiting for this stupid fight to be over with.

Ian laughed and Landon lunged, missing him. Ian reappeared on top of Landon and pulled a sword out of nowhere, plunging it down right through Landon’s back and straight through his front, lodging him into the ground as he fell. But it didn’t stop Landon as he twisted his body and grabbed Ian off his back, taking him down to his level.

But Ian, the snake, always had something up his sleeve.

Literally.

A vial of something crimson shot out into his palm and he stabbed it right into Landon’s missing eye. He hissed as Ian rolled away and jumped back on his feet.

We both watched with morbid fascination as he convulsed, the blood vessels around his eye socket turning black, spidering down his neck like a live infection.
