“With you and Jules, but I have this one meeting I need to take.” He brushed his lips over André’s. “I won’t be long. Twenty minutes tops.”

“Okay.”

Gideon deepened the kiss, then pulled away. “Jules will decide what we do.”

André barked a laugh. “I feel like you’ll come to regret that decision.”

Getting off the bed, Gideon chuckled. “I trust Jules.” He gave André a wink as he made his way to the bathroom to wash up. He didn’t have time for a shower, not that he wanted one. He quite liked the idea of feeling André’s cum inside him as he went to this particular meeting.

Back in the bedroom, André remained in bed while Gideon quickly got dressed. And after another lingering kiss, Gideon left him there, with their sex still written all over his body.

Samir waited for him outside in the hallway, a smirk on his stupid face.

“Finally took my advice, I see.”

“Fuck off.” But that only had Samir chuckling. Gideon grinned at him as they made their way downstairs. The sexual part of his and Samir’s relationship didn’t last for very long, and he was grateful for that because they were better friends than lovers. “Where’d you have them put him? He came alone?”

“In your office. And yep.”

“Okay.” He released a sigh, brushing his hair away from his forehead. “I need coffee.”

“I’ll have someone bring it up,” Samir told him.

He also needed a soak to deal with his aching body. But that would have to wait. Whenever he got around to taking a bath, André would be right there with him.

They arrived at his office to find Kaleb and Will standing outside, acting as guards.

Will looked him over, her lips twitching. “Busy night?”

Kaleb snickered.

Gideon flipped them off and strode past, walking into his office. One man stood there waiting for him. Tall and skinny, with a bald head and dark brown skin, dressed in a gray sweater and khaki slacks. He met Gideon’s gaze with rounded eyes peering through thick-rimmed glasses.

“Gideon Winters? Holy shit!”

Gideon nodded. “That’s me. And you’re Ty Levins. I’ve heard a lot about you.” Because he was a fucking nuisance.AndAndré’s ex.

Gideon could’ve easily hadany one of his people deal with Ty Levins. But here he was, face-to-face with André’s annoying ex. A man who refused to stop reporting André’s and Jules’s disappearance to the cops. Gideon had thought about killing him, but he’d ultimately put that as a final resort.

This was Ty’s last chance, though. And Gideon wanted to look him in the eye when he said what he had to say. He felt a momentary twinge of regret for not telling André what he was up to, but he already knew what his now-lover would say.

André wouldn’t want his ex hurt, but Gideon didn’t have such qualms. Ty was poking his nose where it didn’t belong and Gideon would offer up one warning only.

“So, uh…” Ty licked his lips and glanced around. “What— Why am I here? Not that I’m not stoked to meettheWinters in person,” he rushed to clarify. “But how do you know who I am?”

Gideon strode past him, taking a seat behind his desk and leaning back when Ty faced him. “You reported someone missing recently.”

Ty’s eyes got bigger. “What? You-You know what happened to André?” He placed both hands flat on the desk, leaning over to peer at Gideon. “You know where he is?”

“Why do you think something happened to André?”

Ty paused and straightened, confusion narrowing his eyes behind his glasses. “How do you know André?”

“Who is André to you?”

Ty crossed his arms, jaw tightening. “I’m not answering any of your questions until you answer mine.”
