“Sorry!” I giggle because having an amazing time with a group of women involves a great many shots and pink cocktails.

I hear his chuckle. “Was it fun?”

“So much fun.” Because he’s awake, I stop trying to be quiet, and when I enter the bedroom, I flop on the bed beside him. “I missed you, though.”

“I doubt that, but thanks.” His arms wrap around me and I snuggle in.

Life with Silas hasn’t been a great transformation, but it has changed me. I gave up my influencer sponsorships and rarely go on social media now, especially since I hired Wyatt to manage my accounts. He knows my brand as well as I do.

I also give him a ten-thousand-dollar bonus when he serves at Hela’s for me, to help pay for his tuition when he goes to school in Montreal. It pays to be a billionaire.

Even though it doesn’t pay very well to work at Carrington, my father pays me a consulting fee, and when I brought my latest ideas to him—a line of toy cars marketed toward girls as well as a racing school for women—I also asked for a raise.

I’m headed back to Los Angeles after the wedding.

And this time Silas is coming with me because he decided he can’t be without me for the week I’m away.

I hoped that would happen because I didn't want to be without him.

It’s a lot of fun being a billionaire these days.
