“I’d like that. We could get some houses built for them and any other shifters in need of a new home. Maybe even build a school. Give them a chance to live freely again.”

“We’ll put it to the pack at the next meeting.” Hunter kissed the top of Lily’s head.

“Are you really ok with all of this? Changing the pack and moving it away from just being wolves?” Kingsley sat up next to him.

“We have to evolve to survive, and this is the best way to do it. I’ve learned a lot from Kas. I think the pack will be open to it. They accepted you two after all.” Hunter chuckled, his mind and body feeling lighter than they’d been in years.

“Oh yeah, I nearly forgot…I get your ass.” Kingsley rubbed his hands together.

“Can I go back on something said in the heat of the moment?” Hunter was joking, but he was still a little unsure of giving up his power to someone else. Although he knew the only person he could do it with would be Kingsley.
