“You don’t know that. You can’t.” Her heart was beating rapidly not just from the animalistic sex but also from the trepidation inside her. If she didn’t get out, she couldn’t be with Scott. She was going to die; her brother had told her that if she was found guilty. This was wrong.
“Scott, I need you to leave.”
“I would agree with the Miss Bryant. Mr Frazier, you shouldn’t be here.” They both sat up and looked at the cage door. Ciaran stood there. Emma cocked her head.
“Is your hair green?” She asked.
“And is that a big zit on your forehead?” Scott added.
“Get out!” The druid yelled.
Selene and Jessica appeared in the cage both in fits of giggles.
“I should have known.” Ciaran snarled. “Well, laugh all you can, because your actions have just put your friend in bigger trouble.” The smirk that crossed his face had Emma shivering; Selene and Jessica quieted. “I suggest you get dressed and return to your Alpha, because in the morning, he’ll need to be here to defend his little lioness. Her trial will start at eight a.m.”
