"We'll talk about it when you come here... for now, just know that I'm fine...", Isha said and before her brother could say something, she hung up and called Ragini...

"Ishu... I'm so worried, where have you disappeared you idiot, Reetu informed me that you are under some official duty under the king and queen", Ragini said

"Yes Ragini, I couldn't carry my phone there, it's against the rules, sorry for the inconvenience, I'll come to the office today, don't worry, I'll finish all the designs before delivery dates, you won't face any issue", Isha said

"I'm just worried about you, work can be managed Ishu, now that I heard you, I'm fine... come to work, we'll talk here", Ragini replied, and Isha hummed and hung up...

She went to the washroom, changed into her work clothes, took her bag and is about to go when her husband came inside... she bowed down as in greeting him before walking away, Abhyansh held her hand and pulled her back facing him...

"Your punishment is over, why aren't you looking up??", he asked, and she bubbled in anger hearing him, how dare he ask her that?? What is she to him?? A doll that he could treat her any way he wants, and she would behave as per his instructions?? She calmed herself down before opening her mouth, she still didn't want to look at him...

"I need to leave for work... let me go", she said in as much calm tone as possible with the storm brewing inside her...

"Have breakfast and go", he said staring at her, waiting for her to look up...

"No, I'm fine... let go", she said again...

"Look at meIsha...why aren't you looking at me??", he asked, irritation clear in his tone...

"I am getting late Maharaj, can I leave please??", Isha said keeping her tone calm...

"If you are mad at something, say it to me", Abhyansh said in frustration... he didn't overcome the past he was remembered by his wife recently, he still is angry with her for what she did, but couldn't stop himself from being with her...

"I don't think I have the right to be Maharaj... please let me go, I am getting late for work", she said softly, and that 'Maharaj' irked him to the core...

"Isha...",he started but she jerked his hand and ran away... it's hard to control her tears in his presence but she did it with difficulty... she didn't want to show her weakness in front of him... she wants to stay strong at least until she gets to know the reasons for her punishments, now and in the past... it's her right, her husband can't get away with it every time.

Isha reached her office and Ragini and Reetu hugged her tightly.

"Thank god, you are fine, what the hell has happened that you couldn't even get in touch with us in phone even??", asked Ragini furiously.

"Ragini, there are some rules and regulations to follow in the palace, so I didn't have an option", Isha said, not lying completely

"Ask your husband to shift jobs Ishu... I'll go crazy and eventually die of heart attack if something like this happens again", Ragini said and that's when Isha realized how terrified her brother might be, if her best friends are reacting like this... she regretted talking to her brother like that in the morning...

"Her husband can't do that, he is extremely loyal to the king and queen", Reetu said winking at Isha... Isha didn't have anexpression to her friend's teasing this time and Ragini shook her head at her best friend's obsession with the king and queen...

"Ragini, I am fine, stop worrying about me, and let's get back to work, there are many pending designs to be completed, the delivery date is approaching", Isha said shooing her friends...

During lunch break, she called her brother...

"Bhai...", Isha said as soon as her brother took the call

"Bacha... what's wrong, why is your voice hoarse?? Is everything alright, I am coming there right away", Ranveer said in worry as soon as he heard his sister's tone

"Bhai... I am fine, I am sorry I was rude to you in the morning, don't worry, I am completely fine, we'll talk about it once you come here, okay??", she said softly

"Ishu... I can wait till I get there but answer my one question, did Ranawat again torture or punish you?? Was he a BEAST to you again", Ranveer asked in fear but all he got is her silence

"Ishu... it's important for me to know bacha... tell me", Ranveer asked

"I did something terrible, and he punished me, but he didn't torture me, he wouldn't become like he was in the past ever, I trust him on that. Don't call him that ever again", Isha said softly and Ranveer sighed, he can observe clearly, she is angry with her husband, yet her love isn't hidden...

After talking for a while, Ranveer hung up and Isha decided to get back to her work, but her heart isn't at peace... she didn'tknow how her husband is, from the time she saw him having a nightmare, she is so worried for him. She contemplated whether to call him or not for a while before finally touching the dial button...

"Isha...tell me", Abhyansh said in his usual tone, but she could hear the anticipation in his voice...

"How are you?? Have you eaten??", she asked, and a small almost unnoticeable smile formed on his lips at her care...
