"Why are you angry?? It should be me, you said you would burn Avyan's car if I sit in it, this is the second time you are doing this, that too in front of everyone, what do you take me for??", Isha said angrily... she is hardly holding up her tears as the past she remembered that evening isn't doing any good to her thoughts.
"You went and asked Avyan despite my denial, tell me, why shouldn't I get mad??", he asked trying to avoid shouting at his wife... he wanted to drop her off and pick her up from her workplace, he didn't understand why is she so against that. Isha sighed seeing his fury. She needs to talk to him calmly.
"Okay, it's my fault that I talked to Avyan after our discussion, but I didn't expect you to hear it, I was just asking Avyan, if he agrees, I thought to talk to you at night and convince you...", Isha said calmly
"Why are you so adamant?? I told you I will take you to work and bring you back, what's so wrong in that plan that you are against it??", he asked, all this is new to him, before there was never a need for him to argue, everyone obeyed him without any questions in return but his wife is different, well he was the onewho made her like that, he didn't regret it though, but times like these when she argues with him for petty things, frustrates him.
"I don't want you to change anything for me, not your routine... you are used to reaching home by 5, now because of me you are getting late, which I don't want", Isha explained calmly...
"Rani sa... we are married, I'm your husband, if I had to change a few things to be with you, I would happily...", Abhyansh said with frustration...
"Okay... I get it, but what was that you did in the hall?? How did you think I could face all of them now?? It's true that I was insulted a lot of times in front of the staff but that wasn't the case anymore, at least I thought it changed, I don't understand you Rana sa... one time, you respect me so much, make everyone respect me, fight with your father for disrespecting me, and now you did it yourself", Isha said sitting on the chair beside as she doesn't understand what's going on...
She felt humiliated when he said he would burn Avyan's car if she sits in it, she knew his possessiveness and his need to stay near to her, but what would the others think?? He reacted as if he is suspicious of her relationship with Avyan though she and the family knew that's not the case.
Abhyansh's eyes softened at his wife's words... he slowly walked towards her, and sat on his knees... 'don't melt, don't melt', she chided herself mentally. Gestures like this soften her up a lot to her husband...
"I'm sorry, I was very angry, didn't think much... I just want to have you beside me, for as much time as possible, I want to rectify every single misdeed I didIsha...I still remember how Imade you run till the palace from the highway in the scorching sun... not just once, every freaking day for months... I hate myself for it, that feeling is there to stay, but if I could rectify the things, my guilt would lessen at least a percent, I want to look after you carefully... but my anger always destroys it...", he said and she sighed... she cupped his face and kissed his forehead ruffling his hair...
"I understand Rana sa... I really do, I know your possessiveness for me, but not everyone will take it in that way, your reaction seemed as if you doubted me and Av...", his cold and stern tone stopped her further statement...
"Rani sa...", his furious warning tone startled her, looking at it, she understood how mad he is... "you said it now, never ever say it again... Avyan is like a little brother to you and for my brother, you are next to our mother... I can never think like that about you two, and youRani sa...I trust you more than anything or anyone...", he said and she sighed, she got very happy when he said 'my brother' and 'our mother', it's rare to see her husband call anyone with relations, except for her and her brother... Isha loved how he used 'Our mother' referring to himself and Avyan if her mother-in-law hears this, she would cry in happiness, thought Isha
"I know Rana sa... you don't have to explain anything to me...", she said
"Now tell me, what was that??", he asked rubbing the backside of her palm, she knew what was he asking, but she is not in the mood to answer that...
"Aap please utt jayiye... (Please get up from here)", she said getting uncomfortable seeing her husband who is a king sittingon his knees in front of her, she held his palm and pulled him up... he understood her discomfort and got up pulling her with him... he walked to his chair and sat on it making her sit on his lap...
"I'm waiting Rani sa...", he said wounding his arms around her waist, holding her securely in his arms...
"It's nothing... um... just...", she fumbled... she didn't want to tell him what ran in her head at that time...
"Did you regret it??", he asked understanding her hesitation...
"No, I didn't, how did it even cross your head Rana sa", she asked with a frown, yes, her thoughts went haywire with the kind of past that ran in her head, but not for once did she regret what happened between them. Yes, her husband treated her badly in the past, but now he loves her a lot, and this fact didn't leave her head even for a second...
He smiled nuzzling his head into her neck at her response, he had an idea that she didn't regret it but hearing it from her made him happy. After taking a step forward in their relationship, he couldn't go back again, but if that is what his wife wanted, he would definitely try to give space to her.
"Now tell me what is it that made you like that, be vocal about your painIsha, only then, I could figure out some solution, don't think much about my feelings, I'll be fine, to repair our relationship, it's important that you share your pain with me, that's crucial to maintain a healthy relationship...", he said and she giggled...
"You are counselling as if you had experience of relationships, tell me one thing, were you secretly married before?? Were those two other bedrooms for your other wives??", she asked and he gave her an amused chuckle... only his wife can come up with theories like this...
"No, even if I was married before, why would I keep it a secret?? I'm not afraid of anyone", he said and now her playful smile is replaced with a frown and she turned to him with a hint of hurt and anger in her eyes...
"Instead of clearing out that you were never married before, you are making a joke of it??", she asked and he kissed her cheek to calm her down...
"My bad, no, I wasn't married before, I have only one wife that is you, my Rani sa...", he said nuzzling her cheek with his beard making her giggle...
"I heard all your ancestors have had more than one wife, except for your father... will you follow their path??", she asked, this time, a hint of seriousness in her tone...
"What are you even talking?? Who told you all this??", he asked instead of clarifying her, she just needed his assurance but he didn't think that it was that important, as he thought she knew how much he loved her. He can't even think of any other woman as his wife than Isha, she is everything to him.
When Isha complained about how her husband's chamber has 3 huge bedrooms and finding things he needed gets challenging for her at times, Amruta chuckled and told their family history where their ancestors has at least 7-8 queens, even Amruta's father-in-law had 3 wives, but only one wifehad a child i.e Rajmata Devyani Devi who gave birth to Pratap Singh Ranawat... Amruta also mentioned how Abhyansh is very similar to his late grandfather in many ways. Though Amruta didn't mean about marriage, Isha took it in that way, and from that day, she wanted to ask this to her husband but couldn't dare.
"Answer me first", she said, irritation clear on her face...
"Why are you so grumpy?? Hm??", he asked softly kissing her earlobe taking away her frustration...
