"What?? Even the PM??", Isha asked

"Yes, don't you know?? It's not like PM would come to visit the king in his palace but that's the protocol, usually, His highness meets all the politicians in his separate office in Jaipur, well that's the talk, nothing has evidence", Ragini said, and Isha went into deep thinking, what does her husband have to do anything with politicians?? She wondered without knowing that it's her husband who runs the government unofficially...

"Oh madam, where are you lost??", Reetu shook Isha...

"Nothing...", Isha said with a smile...

"By the way Isha, I couldn't ask you that day, with the way the king saved you and cared for you, he seems to be really caring towards his employees, but what I heard about him doesn't match to what I saw, I heard he is a BEAST and wouldn't care for anyone, he has no feelings and extremely brutal, though he did good deeds for the people and things to protect people, he is that person who is as emotional as a stone", Ragini asked and for some reason, Isha didn't like her words, though they are very true... her husband cared for the welfare of the people but he is not the one to care or get attached emotionally, he is not attached to anyone emotionally except for her, she thought...

"Now, who is getting obsessed with the king huh??", Reetu taunted and Ragini glared at her...

"No Ragini, he is a very good man, okay now, I have work, so bye", saying this Isha came out of her cabin...

She is in deep thinking when her phone buzzed, she smiled at the message...

"Had your lunch?? I just had mine",her husband texted her... since she didn't talk to him all these days, he texted her hoping he would get a reply at least in text but she is adamant... she decided to end his misery...

"No, I'll eat now",she texted back, and her phone buzzed with his number... she picked up with a smile but soon frowned hearing his cold tone...

"Why didn't you eat till now?? It's 2 in the afternoon, if you neglect your health by getting involved in work, I will never let you work Isha", he said coldly... she didn't eat till now and that got him mad...

"Why are you scolding me?? I will eat now", she said softly, he is about to convince her softly when she spoke something... "and I didn't eat not because I'm involved in work, but was thinking about you, so if you really have to punish me for not eating in time, you should stop talking to me, so that I don't think of you anymore", she said innocently without realizing that she could be teased by what she uttered right now... Abhyansh smiled widely hearing her... he wanted to tease her but remembering how she got teary-eyed in the morning when he did got him shut up...

"But that's not possible, how can I stay without talking to you?? Now don't get angry, go and eat, and come home on time... I'll be waiting for you, it’s our wedding anniversary the day after tomorrow, and I need to discuss a few things with you", he said and she blushed hearing his soft husky tone... he remembered their anniversary and that surprised her, yes, she remembered it but didn't expect him to...

"Okay... bye", she said, and hung up when she heard his 'hm', she shook her head at her husband's lack of response, he hardly spoke words like bye, good morning, good night, thankyou etc... sorry would be in that list but these days he apologized to her at least twice in a day... but she didn't mind his rudeness, she grew out to like it, she didn't want him to change for her, all she wants is his love and respect which she has now, but could she completely forget what he had done to her in the past?? But why did he do that in the first place?? She wanted to know but she isafraid, what if he is remembered of the reason and get back to his old self again?? The reasoning sounded foolish, but she couldn't help think that way...

For now, she shook her thoughts away and walked to Reetu's table with her lunch box, from there both of them walked to Ragini's cabin... they had their lunch together like every day, and few of their colleagues joined them... Isha loved Ragini for the kind of person and boss she is, so soft, amiable, respectful towards all of her employees and most importantly very honest and genuine...

Day passed and soon Isha reached the palace, she is excited to see her husband, after one long week, she talked to him today that too not for long as she had to rush to office in the morning, and couldn't talk much in the afternoon...

She quickly changed into a saree, made coffee and some snacks, sent to her father-in-law and rajmata. And then took two plates to her mother-in-law and Avyan but she could see only her mother-in-law...

"Ma, where is Avyan?? I didn't see him from the time I am home, usually he would be here by now, right??", Isha asked placing the snack plates on the tea table...

"Ha Isha beta, but I think he is getting late today, I didn't want to disturb him if he is at work", Amruta answered...

"But... he comes home on time mostly, if there is any work, he would complete it from here na... anyways I'll call him and ask, you have it, your tea is in the pot, have it after some time, I am taking coffee and snacks to Maharaj", Isha said...

"Ha... ha... Go to your Maharaj, now you don't have time to spend with your ma huh...", Amruta teased her daughter-in-law...

"Ma... it's nothing like that...", Isha said blushing making Amruta laugh...

"I was just teasing you.... go and give him coffee, he gets mad if you are late", Amruta said, Isha nodded and walked to her husband's study....

"Why is that b**t**d still alive?? I told you to end all those involved in the attack on Rani sa, didn't I?? Then why??", Abhyansh roared making Isha jerk in fear... thankfully she put the tray in the table beside her when she heard his loud tone...

"Hukum... as you know, he is a big businessman, a well-known personality, killing him would speculate unnecessary news, we could plan an accident, you will hear the news soon", Bhairav said bowing his head...

Abhyansh ended everyone involved in the attack except for Kailash Rajput and the owner of the arms company who manufactured the gun... he wouldn't have gone till the owner if it was him who was attacked instead of his wife, but now he wouldn't leave a single person who is responsible for her tears and the nightmares she had to face aftermath. He planned many things for Kailash Rajput and soon he would start his torture after his brother-in-law is done...

"Maharaj... ", Isha said, composing herself, she knew her husband is a Beast, then why is she getting so worked up, it's fine, it's okay, she told herself...

Abhyansh closes his eyes to contain his fury...

"Bhairav, leave", Abhyansh said opening his eyes...

"Hukum", Bhairav bowed down and walked away...
