"Serve me, I want to taste every item...", he said walking towards them...

Everyone noticing his presence stood up in respect before he asked them to sit... Ranveer too sat down... They are shocked at how Abhyansh announced he wants to taste every item, not to forget, that's post his dinner time and he never broke his schedule before...

"Bring a bowl of water", Abhyansh ordered the servants, Isha is about to go and bring but Abhyansh stopped her... "Not you", he added, he didn't want her to even touch the bowl as he is using that to wash his hands since he killed someone...

And everyone including the servants understood why he asked for the bowl as they knew he had this habit of washing his hands after killing someone... But Isha didn't...

The servant came with the bowl, he washed his hands...

"Throw this away", Abhyansh ordered pointing toward the huge bowl... Isha's as well as the servants' eyes widened as it's made of silver... Even the family is surprised as to why he is asking to throw it away, but they didn't say a thing, no one could understand that the beast didn't want his wife to even touch the bowl in which he just washed his sin... Ranveer who is observing everything calmly got it...

Isha as always, first ate by herself, which didn't go well with Ranveer Or everyone for that matter, especially the BEAST but he couldn't bring himself to tell her that she need not taste thefood anymore as he trusts her now but how could he?? He didn't have any answer if his wife asks, 'what's with this sudden trust', heck he himself hadn't had any answer to that question, and his brain is alarming him about the growing feelings that could destroy him and he decided to keep them in check...

Isha is still tasting dishes when Ranveer spoke...

"Bacha... Serve me first, I trust you and I don't need any proof", Ranveer said, his eyes blazing with fire, seeing his sister getting treated like this, he didn't understand his brother-in-law's confusing behaviour, on one side he behaves as if she is so important to him, another side he treats her like sh*t by not even trusting her...

"Bhai... Hush... ", Isha cautioned her brother as she didn't want him to face her husband's wrath, but Ranveer didn't stop there...

He took the dishes which Isha didn't taste yet and started having, making the whole family open their mouth wide in surprise...

Abhyansh stayed quiet and when Isha looked at him for his reaction, he signalled her to continue what she is doing, she tasted every item and after that she served him, and then the servants served everyone, except Ranveer who is already having the lavish dinner...

Everyone praised the food but what made Isha happy, is her husband having every item at least two servings... And he even tasted the halwa and ghevar she made though he wouldn't have sweets generally, staying true to his word to taste every item...

Everyone almost finished their dinner when Abhyansh opened his mouth...

"This is the first and last time you are doing this Rajput, the next time I find you disrespecting me, you will find your dead body lying on this very dining table...", Abhyansh said in his deadly tone that made Isha shiver...

"I apologize on my brother's behalf Maharaj... ", Isha said and the beast for some reason didn't like it...

"Rajput...", Abhyansh muttered his name in a warning tone and Ranveer understood what he is waiting for...

"I apologize, your highness, it won't happen again but I would be glad if my sister could get the respect she deserves instead of treating her like a slave", Ranveer said, his voice turned serious from apologetic in the end...

Abhyansh didn't respond to it, he finished his dinner and left the place followed by everyone, except for Amruta who stayed to give company to her daughter-in-law at dinner, and Ranveer who wanted to talk to his sister about reconsidering her decision regarding leaving the BEAST.

"Isha... I know how you feel, all I can do is ask forgiveness from you, it's been more than 7 months for your marriage but he still doesn't trust you, every time I see you eating the food you cooked, like a normal servant, I feel so ashamed of myself for giving birth to such a son...", Amruta said with tears while serving Isha who made her mother-in-law sit and held her hands...

"Ma, you are right, it hurts every time I do this, I feel insulted, but it is what it is, we can't do much about it, can we?? Instead, I would like to focus on the good things, he wouldn't hurt me physically these days, I get to do my dream job, I have friends who could cheer me up and make me happy, I have you who loves me just like your daughter, Avyan who cares about me so much... You know, the other day, he wasn't feeling well, so he decided to work from home, yet he woke up to drop me at the main junction knowing I had to walk for 15 kilometres if he wouldn't drop me... I told him I could walk for a day, but he insisted on dropping me off... I have my brother in front of my eyes, and I get to see him once every two days, my life wasn't this good before ma, so I am happy, everyone's life is filled with one or the other problem but that shouldn't stop anyone from experiencing the good things in their life, right??", Isha said with a smile, having her dinner...

"You are such an optimistic soul, I love you so much Isha, from the time you entered my life as my daughter, I am happy, smiling every day, you make everyone happy my daughter... We are lucky to have you", Amruta said...

Hearing Isha's words, Ranveer understood that it was a waste to talk to her now... So he gently kissed her forehead and left from there greeting Amruta...

"I think he is upset... ", Amruta said looking at Ranveer's retreating back

"He is ma, I will talk to him... ", Isha said

Both the ladies had sorted the work after Isha is done with her dinner, and then left for their respective chambers...

CHAPTER – 18

Isha went to her room and slept on the floor, her thoughts kept revolving around her husband who is the biggest mystery of her life, when she looks into his eyes, she feels as if she is very important to him, though his eyes remain emotionless always, she understands him, but she is confused whether she is interpreting everything right or not...

she looked at the time, an hour passed and yet she didn't receive a call from her brother... She clearly told her brother to call her when he reached home... It's less than an hour's drive from the palace, why didn't he call till now?? Is he fine?? Fear gripped her heart thinking about his accident before...

She immediately called her brother...
