"Mr. Ranawat, please...", Ranveer begged...

"Start the car", Abhyansh ordered settling in the passenger seat... The moment those words left his mouth, he knew there is no going back now. The driver started the car after Ranveer sat in the back seat, taking his sister's head in his lap... He tried to stop the bleeding from the arm...

"Drive fast...", Ranveer shouted, he got angrier seeing Abhyansh sitting calmly as if it's nothing... His sister got shot getting worried for this b**t**d?? Thought Ranveer...

"Ishu... nothing will happen to you... I promise you; you will live, I know", Ranveer said crying holding his sister close to his heart...

"Don't promise something in which you have no say Rajput", Abhyansh said as if he doesn't care if his wife lives or dies but in reality, he is hell afraid from inside... This never happened in years, for more than 15 years, from the time he was crowned, he lost emotions bit by bit, and became the emotionless beast he is today, but she, his wife, Isha Abhyansh Singh Ranawat brought back those emotions today, and he is afraid of losing her, at the same time, afraid of hurting her if she survives, he wants to save her from himself and that vulnerability scared him the most...

They reached the hospital and Ranveer ran inside carrying his sister but Abhyansh sat in his seat motionless...

"Ranawat palace...”, He said, his driver bowed and started the car...

He reached Ranawat palace and walked inside, Amruta who is in the hall, got shocked, seeing his white shirt soaked in blood...

"Abhyansh... What's this?? You are hurt?? What happened to you?? Doctor...", Amruta screamed holding his arms and checking for injuries...

"I'm fine...", Abhyansh said, he didn't pull away from his mother for the first time in years as if he needed her warmth, her touchto cope with the pain he is feeling in his heart after years, hearing her scream, everyone came out...

"Then, this blood??", Amruta asked with tears still running from her eyes, worried for her son...

"It's Isha's, Kailash Rajput attacked, she was shot in the firings", He said in his usual tone as if it was pretty normal...

"Isha??", Amruta said shocked, Avyan ran to his mother to hold her before she collapses on the floor, he held her by her shoulders and made her sit on the nearby sofa...

"How is she?? She is fine right??", Amruta asked...

"I don't know, his brother is in the hospital with her...", Abhyansh said and walked away...

Seeing his behaviour, everyone is shocked, Amruta looked at her son, and anger filled in her...

"Why didn't I kill you the moment you were born...", she shouted looking at her son who is walking ahead... his steps halted for a second...

"Ma...", Avyan handled his mother, before she could utter more things in anger, and get punished by his brother...

"SK hospitals, emergency ward", Abhyansh said before walking away to his chamber... On knowing the hospital's name, Avyan ran out and brought his car near the entrance, Amruta got into the car...

"Avyan, keep us informed", Rajmata Devyani Devi said, Avyan nodded and drove off...

The doctors started treating Isha, and since she has lost a lot of blood, her condition worsened... but the bullet was pierced into her arm, which was not too dangerous, they were able to remove the bullet and tend to her wound... and luckily, they have her blood group in their blood bank, so they were able to save her, they said to Ranveer who sighed in relief...

The doctors allowed the family to see Isha the next morning... they informed them that it would take a few days for Isha to gain consciousness.

Amruta cried looking at her daughter-in-law's condition... Avyan got teary-eyed too...

"Avyan, arrange for the doctors, we will take my daughter home, and I will take care of her, doctors told us we can take her home, right??", Amruta said

"I'm sorry Mrs. Ranawat, my sister is not stepping in that place again...", Ranveer said

"But it's her house too Ranveer beta", Amruta said softly

"No Mrs. Ranawat, you are always welcome to come and see my sister, but I can't let her stay there, not in this situation, that b**t**d left her on the road like that, I had to beg him to get her to the hospital, my sister is in this situation because of him in the first place...", Ranveer said...

Amruta didn't say any further as she knew there must be something more that has happened, and this is not the right time to dig into all those things... so she quietly nodded at Ranveer... The next day, Isha got discharged and Ranveer took her to Rajput palace, his chamber still has all the support systems andequipment, he arranged for more which are required for his sister, and with the help of the doctors, he got her settled in his chamber...

He cried looking at her lifeless form, he never imagined that his one act would get her in this situation, the day he got out of bed, the very same day, his sister got bedridden... He sobbed at their fate...

He decided, neither is he going to leave his father nor Abhyansh Singh Ranawat... He ruffled his sister's hair and let her rest, walking out of his chamber, to talk to the nurses and doctors about her health...
