"Huh, anyways, she is not going to be successful, you know it, so eat well tonight, I'll bring saline for you, the doctor will put it to you if at all you fall ill... this is the reason I tell you, do not defy rules, sometimes I feel how can a son treat his mother like this", Avyan said before walking away...

Amruta sighed to her deeply, the past incidents which turned her son into a BEAST even towards her started making their way to her brain, she shook her head and closed all those thoughts...

Isha entered the office but still, his cabin is far, but before she could walk to it, she heard his tone...

"What are you doing here??", he asked, she looked here and there to see if there are any cameras... she heard a bang and she understood her BEAST husband is irritated on not hearing the answer... So she quickly walked to his office, and there she saw him working on his laptop seriously, for once she wanted to look at his face, she raised her head and looked at his lips when his voice boomed again...

"Want me to increase your punishment??", Abhyansh said still looking at his laptop... and she jerked and looked down...

"No, I am here to talk to you about something Maharaj,kindly allow me to talk for a minute", she fumbled with words even thinking about how to talk about it and imagining his reaction, her leftover confidence crumbled, but her determination to protect her mother-in-law at any cost remained tall...

"Go ahead", He said in his cold tone...

'Don't let his tone intimidate you, don't don't' she prep talked

"Ma..Maharaj, you can't punish ma, it's my fault, not ma sa's, please exempt her from this punishment", Isha pleaded looking down...

Abhyansh looked at her with his steely face, without letting any emotions out, but he is surprised by her courage... He loved her fear, her taking huge gulps in fear boosted his ego, he knew he won't change his decision, never in his life did he revert the punishment, wouldn't be doing in the future too but he is in the mood to play with her, so he decided to entertain himself looking at her fear...

His brother made his way inside before he could speak anything, he signalled him to sit in front of him... Avyan really had some matters to discuss with his brother, but his plan was to meet him the next morning but to check on his sister-in-law upon his mother's wish, he is here and Abhyansh knew this very well...

"Why do you think I would listen to you??", Abhyansh asked in his icy tone that made her fear intensify but she had to speak...

"Because I'm your wife", Isha spoke closing her eyes tightly... Avyan's eyes widened in shock at her bravery... Abhyansh is shocked by her statement, but he didn't let his feelings show on his face... He didn't want to agree but hearing 'I'm your wife' from her mouth did feel good, she is someone completely his to hate, to torture, to give hell, he thought...

"I already told you; you are my...", Abhyansh started but she cut him off... and Avyan's eyes would have come out of socketsif that's possible... She dared to cut Abhyansh Singh Ranawat's statement, does she have a death wish?? Avyan thought...

"I know, I know I'm your slave for life Maharaj, but I'm your wife based on the rituals we followed in our marriage, and my fate is tied to you, and I'm an equal shareholder in your sins, being your wife, I can take the weight of any of your sins but not this, punishing your own mother is a grave sin, I can't be a part of it, so I can't let you do it Maharaj", Isha spoke closing her eyes, surprising herself, she didn't fumble, and she didn't think what she told is what she meant but she did, somewhere in her heart, she accepted the fact that now Abhyansh Singh Ranawat is her husband, and no matter what she had to live with that fact whether she liked it or not...

Abhyansh has nothing to say, and that surprised Avyan, he badly wanted to smile looking at his brother's face, but he knew he can't die young, so he stifled his smile maintaining a poker face...

"Ask Amruta Singh Ranawat to be here... Right now,", he ordered, by hearing his roar, the servants ran to bring Amruta, and hearing his tone, Avyan knew his sister-in-law messed up terribly... Isha sent her final goodbyes to her brother in mind as she knew she would die today bearing his punishment...

'Bhai... I am angry with you, but I love you, may God keep you happy always and give you my life that he is snatching from me', she prayed in mind

Amruta ran inside the office and looked worried...

"You can have your food from tomorrow", Abhyansh said, Amruta and Avyan thought they are hallucinating, as they knew the BEAST never reverses his punishment...

Isha smiled widely and jumped at her place hugging her mother-in-law, Avyan smiled looking at his cheerful sister-in-law... Unknown to everyone, Abhyansh kept staring at his wife, this is the first time he is seeing her smile, and he hated himself for liking that smile, she looked extremely gorgeous wearing that smile... Isha realized she is in the Beast's office, so she broke the hug and looked down...

"Thank you, Maharaj...”, She said bowing her head in respect...

"You will be bearing that punishment... 6 days, no food", Abhyansh said, and Isha nodded looking down... Amruta is worried that how can her daughter-in-law stay hungry for 6 days without eating...

"3 days this week and 3 days next week", Abhyansh said surprising everyone again... He didn't want her to fall ill again, that would halt his punishments on a regular basis, her pain and suffering gave him peace and he didn't want that to disrupt, but a tiny part of his non-existent heart didn't want to starve her for 6 days on a row... He decided to punish her the next day severely to destroy that tiny part of his heart which softened for a second for her...

"Now get out", he said, both Amruta and Isha scurried away hearing his tone...

"B..Bhai sa, this file...", Avyan is about to start the discussion but Abhyansh interrupted him...

"Your job for coming here is done, now leave", Abhyansh said indicating he knew why he is there...

"Sorry Bhai sa...", Avyan said looking down...

"Next time, you want to smile at your brother, imagine yourself toothless before doing it", Abhyansh said and Avyan is shocked, he thought he stifled his smile, then how did his brother got to know?? Huh, damn Abhyansh Singh Ranawat for his intelligence...

Avyan muttered another ' Sorry' and scurried away taking the files...
