They are done with dinner, and Isha went to give turmeric milk to her mother-in-law and check on her, but Amruta didn't speak a word worrying Isha.

"Will you tell me what happened? Why do you look so upset and furious ?", Abhyansh asked as soon as he saw his wife entering the room.
"Rana sa... go and see ma once, she will feel much better", Isha said and Abhyansh glared at his wife...
"You know how I feel about that woman, still you are asking me to go and see her ? How could you Rani sa ?", Abhyansh asked his wife...
"She is unwell Rana sa, and she might feel good if you go and see her, acha, at least go and ask her how is she feeling ? Don't even wait for her response, just go and ask her, that will get her fine", Isha said feeling extremely worried seeing Amruta getting so silent.
"She is just sick not dying", Abhyansh told his wife coldly
"Rana sa... I know you don't like showing you care for her, I know you are angry and upset with her, but .that. about your mother", Isha said sternly
"Then stop forcing me to go to that woman, I just hate her, what part of it don't you under...", Abhyansh started but Isha's words stopped his tongue from moving.
"Your father slapped your mother Rana sa... twice...", Isha said and Abhyansh didn't respond for a minute, so Isha thought he was trying to act like it didn't affect him but soon her husband's roar brought her out of her thoughts.
"THAT B**T**D... I WILL CUT HIS ARMS", Abhyansh said jumping from the bed, taking the sword that was hanging to the holder on the wall, and started storming outside but Isha stopped him...
"Rana sa... Rana sa... Stop, please... Calm down first please...", Isha said putting her palm on his raging heart and rubbing it softly over his shirt and that calmed him to some extent... "I already punished him... Please don't react now, no one knows this, if you react adversely, the whole staff will get to know and ma is already feeling very shameful, she can't meet anyone's eye if this comes out, so please act wisely", Isha said softly and Abhyansh sighed, Isha took the sword from his hand and put it back in its place.
She made him sit on the couch and gave him some water. After his breaths became a bit normal... She started slowly...
"Go and check on her once... She didn't say a word from then... She will feel better if you go", Isha said but Abhyansh shook her head, his heart ached for his mother, the thought of his father slapping his mother was extremely disturbing to him, he wanted to kill his father but he couldn't forget the betrayal of his mother at the same time. He just can't go to her and Isha understood his dilemma.
"I wasn't asking you to forgive her, just go and see her Rana sa... She needs you at this time... You know why was she slapped in the first place ?", Isha asked and by her tone, he understood that it must be for him, he sighed deeply, Isha understood that he might have guessed it but still she decided to say it... "Your father was calling you names and ma has raised her tone asking him not to say a word against you, I have never heard her speak in that tone but I guess when it comes to her children every mother becomes a kali", Isha said and Abhyansh closed his eyes...
"I thought that man might have learnt his lesson after I stripped him off his titles but no...", Abhyansh said trying to calm himself down...
"Please go and see her Rana sa...", Isha said and Abhyansh nodded making her eyes widen in shock. She was telling him to go but she didn't expect him to agree to her so easily... She smiled widely kissing his cheek. "Don't lose your patience, if possible console her properly...", Isha said and Abhyansh glared at her and that's her cue to shut up... He got ready to go and see her, that should suffice.
She knew he was very protective of his mother and the fact that his father slapped his mother that too under his roof was eating him from within, she also knew he was equally doubtful that this wasn't the only time this happened and he was cursing himself badly for not seeing it coming. He thought his father wouldn't dare to disobey him but he did. Abhyansh thought to teach his father a lesson but for now he decided to go and see his mother,he really hoped she was fine otherwise no one could stop him from making her a widow.
"She is in the guest chamber, number 2", Isha said and Abhyansh nodded. Isha hugged him as she knew he needed it. He hugged her back tightly before walking away.
He slowly opened the guest chamber door, and he was surprised to see it unlocked. He walked in... Amruta thought it was Isha, so she sighed deeply and was about to answer her that she was fine but that's when she heard her elder son's tone, he cleared his throat to make his presence known...
Hearing his tone, she sprang to her legs, her eyes held the same innocent love and affection she once held years ago, YES, after more than one and half decades, Amruta looked into her son's eyes and the tears made their way... He took a step towards her seeing her tears, and that's her cue, she ran into his arms hugging him tightly, breaking down...
Abhyansh stiffened at the contact, his mother's warmth made him crave her affection more, he so badly wanted to hug her back but the betrayal came flashing to him, but for the first time in all these years, her tears and sobs dominated his painful past experience and finally The BEAST became Abhyansh Singh Ranawat again for his mother hugging her back... He knew maybe he could never forgive her for what she did but he sure broke his own resolve of staying away from his mother forever but he didn't regret his decision.
CHAPTER – 4
Amruta hugged her son and sobbed heavily, the pain caused by her husband's act is completely dominated by the peace and happiness she felt hugging her son, if she gets to touch her son and feel his love, she could take 1000 slaps from her husband, thought she. The thought was a slap on her self-respect but for a mother, it's bliss. She sobbed even more when she felt her elder son hugging her back with his right hand on her hair...
She expected him to push her away and punish her for looking into his eyes and touching him, but when she felt him hugging her back, she thought she wouldn't regret even if she lost her life the next moment.
"I don't regret even if I die nowAbhi", Amruta whispered to herself but her son heard it, he fisted his palm to control his anger hearing her words, his mother can't die... not only because she is his mother and he couldn't take the thought of something happening to her, but also because she should be alive and bear the punishment of her betrayal too. And when she called her 'Abhi' after all these years, he felt uncontrollable rage with his veins popping out, but at the same time it soothed his burn buthe didn't want to encourage the positive feelings. His mother didn't deserve it after her betrayal.
He detached himself from her and took 2 steps back putting a distance in between them...
"Abhi...", Amruta called with pain
"Abhyansh...", he corrected her coldly before taking a seat on the chair and showed his palm towards the bed asking her to sit there... She gulped her pain looking at his cold form.
"C..Can I please sit beside you Abh...Abhyansh ?", Amruta asked with hope and Abhyansh nodded but showed his palm to the seat in front of him, so that she won't be too near to him either. Amruta nodded with a thankful smile, at least she gets to sit near to him if not beside him.
