"No Maharaj, Mr. Rajput, you are getting me wrong, I don't want to repeat all of it. Rani sa would stay there normally... But in between, I just need to observe her regarding what's causing her discomfort. I'll be staying there too", Dr. Parthasarathy cleared but still, Abhyansh was reluctant but he understood the need for it. He wanted to tag along but then he realized it wasn't a good choice as his presence would cause Isha to relax and feel safe and secure. And it wouldn't help the doctor's analysis in any way.
Both Abhyansh and Ranveer observed how Isha stayed attentive and cautious if Abhyansh Or Ranveer were not around in the Rajput palace. To date, she couldn't forget how the same walls were a cage for her for 16 years and how those lifeless barriers witnessed her sufferings silently, stopping her from escaping hell.
"But I must say, Rani Sa is strong-minded, and all these days of sessions helped her a bit... I think she is strong enough to...", Dr. Parthasarathy trailed... What he meant was Abhyansh could now start sharing the truth whatever it was, but he wasn't sure of the consequences, he was sure to handle Isha if she were to suffer another attack, because according to him, the hidden truth was causing her equal damage and preventing it was important. Abhyansh and Ranveer hated letting someone in and access the hidden truths about their families but they had no option, it was needed to to let the doctor know for him to treat Isha. But, nevertheless, they didn't have to worry as Abhyansh conducted thorough research on Dr. Parthasarathy and he wasa man of integrity, in his more than 7 decades of experience, he never compromised his patient's privacy ever.
"Do you take the guarantee ?", Abhyansh asked him, he knew what was the doctor saying but he couldn't take any chance with his wife's health and let her suffer.
Seeing the old man silent, Abhyansh got up and walked away as he didn't find any use in talking to the doctor more or listening to him on this topic.
----------------------------------
Isha waited for her husband to initiate about the past, she knew she was recovering bit by bit, and now her anxiety reduced a lot whenever she thought about her past. She knew her doctor might have spoken to her husband about her improvement and she expected Abhyansh to tell her about the truth but Abhyansh never spoke about it and now she is frustrated with him.
He walked into the room, changed and sat beside her, he knew she was angry with him and he had an idea about the reason, that's why he didn't want to initiate any conversation but to his bad luck, she did it herself.
"Rana sa... Did Dr. Parthasarathy talk to you ?", Isha asked, Abhyansh nodded... "I was waiting for the truth Rana sa, Now, I am taking sessions from the doctor, I can feel the improvement, but I feel like all the efforts are only from my side, if I take 10 steps, you should at least take 1 step but you are stuck to your place, how would it work ?", Isha asked softly...
"I promised you to tell the truth, not after starting your sessions with Dr. Parthasarathy, but after fully recovering, your improvement is consistent and I'm very happy about it, but I can't take any risk, I'm still stuck to my point, yes. I will not utter a single word until you completely recover", he stated sternly. He knew she would get mad at his words but that's what is therein his mind, and he didn't want to manipulate his wife by beating around the bush but his blunt statement increased her fury.
"You are impossible Abhyansh Singh Ranawat... You. Are. Impossible", Isha shouted in the end... She has been feeling a lot of mood swings lately, and at first, she thought she was PMSing, but her period is delayed, she didn't want to tell him that, he would blame it on her health again and might delay confessing the truth. Her husband is capable of anything and she hated him for doing this to her.
"Isha... Calm down... will you ?", he asked rubbing her forearms and taking her in his arms but she pushed him away...
"Why can't you tell me the truth Abhyansh ? Especially when I have already heard it from my aunt? Do you know how frustrating it is to live with half-truth... Sach kya hai Ansh ? (What is the truth, Ansh ?) Let me tell you, the truth is you think my father killed Advaita... Right ?", she screamed, he fisted his hands to control himself, he couldn't shout at her and trigger her panic attack, no he couldn't let her suffer... he kept chanting to himself.
'I don't think so, it's a fact, your ba***rd of a father killed my sister in front of my eyes', he wanted to scream but didn't...
"Ansh... Please tell me the truth... You don't know how I'm feeling right now... I feel suffocated... It's getting hard to live with the feeling that my husband blames my father for my sister-in-law's death... Right now I feel as if I'm stuck... I can't love the two most important men in my life without feeling guilty, loving you or Baba was always my peace, it came naturally but now I feel as if I'm doing wrong with the other by doing so... baba was a king, a very respected man in the society, yet he was isolated in his last days, no one visited us to pay final respects as if he and ma were some outcasts and I know you were behind it and loving you feels so wrong but I can't stop myself. At the same time, eventhinking that Baba was behind Advaita's death giving you and our whole family a lifelong scar is enough to hate him but I can't do it, he is my father... What am I supposed to do ? What am I... Supposed to do", she broke down at the end... Abhyansh's eyes turned red hearing her breaking down like that.
He tried to understand her pain... She lost her parents at a tender age, and her love and longing for them only multiplied with time... And when she is getting to live her life, enjoying her marriage and love, and accepting her parents' death, she gets to know that her father was behind her husband's sister's death and that was the reason her husband hated her and tortured her at the beginning of their marriage. Fate was always cruel to her but she was always kind to people around her. His fury always stopped him from listening to her when she spoke about her parents', especially her father but today he controlled it and listened to her and her pain broke his heart.
As a daughter, it's the hardest phase and as a wife too, it's tough to live with a man who hates her father, so much that he could kill him.
"Isha... I'm sorry... Please... stay strong, just some more time...don't lose your patience", he told her... She separated from his embrace and wiped her tears after a few minutes, composing herself.
"Get out... You are allowed only till Avyan's Roka... Don't you think you have extended your stay a bit more ?", Isha asked...
"Rani sa... Don't do this...", he said seriously... he knew she was kicking him out so that she didn't have to break down in front of him...
"Look! I'm done with you... You want to be my pain as well as my balm, but trust me, I won't let it happen anymore", Isha said... "Now leave", she said angrily...
He got up and walked inside their closet, and she frowned... Realization hit her when she saw her walking towards her with the ointment in his head... He sat beside her and applied it on her scar which was almost faded now...
"You can't avoid it Isha... I gave you pain in the past and now I want to be the balm, and trust me, I will heal you no matter what... You don't know the lava in my heart every minute remembering my behavior with you, I was trying to suppress it because I deserve the burn of it every second of my life, I won't let it burst out", he said, his voice deepening and she could hear the immense pain in his tone, her chest tightened at his agony.
"Do we deserve all this pain Rana sa ?", Isha asked looking into his eyes that are burning in regret.
"I do, you don't", he said kissing her forehead... "Sleep now... I'll be in my study", he said getting up and walking away.
She stared at the ceiling thinking about everything. She regretted asking her husband to go away. She needed him at the same time she didn't. These days her mood swings are at their peak, one second she is extremely happy for having Abhyansh in her life, and the next second she is angry with him. She knew she had to leave for the Rajput palace to stay there for a few days, as per her doctor's request, he said he would like to treat her but in an unprecedented way, and for that she needed to be available for him 24/7. Staying in Ranawat palace isn't an option as there would be her whole family and it's not suitable for the treatment, so he preferred Rajput palace. Well, that's the reason the doctor told her. So, she decided to oblige him, if she agreed to see Dr. Parthasarathy, she decided to give her 100% in getting better, instead of doing it for the sake of it.
After a few days, Isha decided to leave for Rajput palace, since the family didn't know about Isha's treatment, they thought shewas going to Rajput palace to stay for a few days with her brother.
"Isha... beta... I'm again telling you, Why go there when Ranveer could stay here ? Don't go", Amruta said for the nth time... She didn't like her daughter going away...
"Ma... Just for a few days... Bhai and I miss our old days, and I want to enjoy it in the place where we grew up", Isha said gently hugging her mother-in-law... Amruta nodded in understanding but the BEAST had to taunt his mother...
"Is it the love for your daughter-in-law or fear that you have to handle all the responsibilities, especially my meals ?", Abhyansh asked coldly... Isha sighed at him, but surprisingly Amruta's face didn't pale, she was happy he was at least talking to her.
