"Sh... bacha... I'm here... bhayyu is here na... I'll be always there for you bacha... You have me... Sh... don't cry... baba and ma won't like seeing you crying...", Ranveer consoled his sister hugging her... Isha hid her face in his chest hugging his back fisting his shirt sobbing hard.

"Bhayyu... I want ma-baba... Please...", Isha said, she remembered her parents hearing the past... Isha somewhere blame herself as her father had to driver in high speed to tend to her... Was it the reason why her husband hated her ? But he didn't even know the truth... He was thinking her father plotted against them and did everything intentionally. But her heart knew her father wasn't that kind of person but still he was the culprit. She couldn't bear the truth that her father killed her sister-in-law and gave her husband and his family a wound that would never heal...

"Bhai... I...", she didn't know what to think, she felt as if her heart is bleeding and Ranveer understood her... He is feeling a similar ache in his chest but he knew hers was much more... She couldn't imagine that somewhere her father was the reason for her husband's pain and her husband was the reason behind her father's horrible last days and even at his funeral, Abhyansh made sure no one visited him. Ranveer knew all this would hurt Isha a lot from both sides as she loved her husband and father a lot.

CHAPTER – 11

Ranveer patted his sister to sleep, she lay her head on his lap while he leaned his head on the bed rest. His palms ruffling her hair softly. After some time he too drifted off and it was after an hour that he woke up to his sister's mobile ring disturbing his sleep. He quickly silenced the ring before it could wake her up. He sighed looking at the caller Id. He was contemplating whether to pick up, but soon his phone started vibrating with Abhyansh's home extension that belonged to his study.

Ranveer sighed, he supported his sister's head on the pillow and walked out of his chamber taking his Isha's and his phone with him. Both the phones started ringing again and he got irritated at his brother-in-law's desperation.

He picked up both the phones together...

"I am your brother-in-law as well as wife for now, tell me, whom do you want to talk", Ranveer said putting both the phones in either of his ears...

"Which idiot talks to the same person on two phones", Abhyansh said with irritation at his brother-in-law's idiocy.

"When you can call on two phones simultaneously, why can't I talk on two phones at the same time", Ranveer argued...

"Idiot Rajput, I called two different people but you are talking to the same person", Abhyansh argued...

"Says who ? You may be one person, but your personality has 100 different people hidden in you, so technically I should be entering the Guinness Book of World Records for dealing with 100 people at a time", Ranveer said and Abhyansh wanted to slap some sense into Ranveer's head so that he understands when to taunt and when to stay silent.

Here he was worried for Isha since she didn't reply to his texts nor did she call him to ask about his lunch and that seemed very strange. He knew she was mad at him but that didn't stop her from caring for him earlier and he knew it wouldn't stop her now as well. He wanted to check if she was fine but instead, he had to handle his brother-in-law's nonsensical talks.

"Rajput... Do.Not.Test.My.Patience, Where is Isha ?", Abhyansh asked in his signature cold tone which gave the hint to Ranveer.

"Isha is sleeping, and before you ask, she is fine, just a little upset, I'll drop her there tomorrow", Ranveer said

"Tomorrow ?", Abhyansh scowled...

"Yes Ranawat, Tomorrow... Did you hear 2 years later ?", Ranveer asked

"Shut up Rajput", Abhyansh groaned

"Looking at your reaction, I thought you heard wrong", Ranveer teased his brother-in-law more...

Only he knew how much his heart ached to hear about Abhyansh's loss. Ranveer couldn't even imagine a scratch on his sister's body and his brother-in-law saw his sister die in front of his eyes... He knew his brother-in-law might have faced many betrayals and had gone through terrible times if he had become such an emotionless beast as he is today but he never imagined he had lost something so dear to him and that was the major reason for his transition. Ranveer is yet to know about Bhuvan and all the other things Abhyansh had gone through.

His heart ached at his brother-in-law's suffering and he wanted to hug Abhyansh tightly consoling him but he knew their relationship wasn't of that sort. So, he teased him in their equation diverting his attention for a while.

"I want my wife at home tonight", Abhyansh demanded.

"Huh... Ranawat...", Ranveer started but Abhyansh cut him off...

"I want my wife with me... Don't make me repeat... And ask her to call me once she wakes up... You sure she is okay ?", Abhyansh asked, his tone unsure at the end, he was worried for her...

He guessed she might have gone to talk to her aunt and there are chances Nandini Rana would have spat the past, of course, the lies (according to him), but he couldn't stop his wife, already he was guilty of being unfair to her by hiding the truth which she deserved to know. He didn't want to do it anymore so, he left the decision to her, it was her choice whether to wait for him to tell the truth or believe her aunt.

"She will get fine Ranawat... Don't worry, I'm here, I'll take care of her", Ranveer assured his brother-in-law...

"That woman opened her mouth... Huh... ", Abhyansh stated, and Ranveer's silence confirmed it... "Did Rani sa cry ?", Abhyansh asked with worry...

Ranveer liked how Abhyansh referred 'Isha' as Rani sa and not by her name... He could hear the immense love and respect in the tone he held for his wife. Was this the same man who disrespected her in his mad hatred and made her his slave ? Ranveer wondered

"Yeah... She broke down remembering her parents...", Ranveer said and immediately regretted realizing his brother-in-law's harsh breaths... "It would be painful for any child to hear all this and then their struggling days before their death... All this tooka toll on Isha... ", Ranveer said intentionally avoiding 'Advaita's topic as he knew how his brother-in-law would react to it. He didn't like anyone talking about his sister's death, he made sure none did that's why no one belonging to the young generation knew about the Ranawat princess.

But Ranveer's careful avoidance of that topic caused Beast unwanted doubts, such as if his wife was really worried about her father's suffering more than his pain of losing his sister? Does it mean she believed her aunt without waiting to hear his side of the story... He wanted to know her thoughts. He had belief in his wife, she would respect his feelings and wait for him to reveal the whole past before coming to a conclusion, but he also knew how strongly she believed in her father's innocence, and a daughter would always incline to believe that her father is not guilty rather than otherwise, he thought.
